Close to Stratford-Upon-Avon, clean facilities and very friendly staff

This site is just a place to sleep, rather than a place to spend time relaxing. It's nicely kept but there is nothing for the children to do there, and no views to look at. There is no play area for children, but families can use the dog walking field for games. Pitches felt very close together. Luckily not too much of a problem as everyone was pretty quiet. Shower block was nice and clean, but very cramped so you have to squeeze past people brushing their teeth in order to get to the toilets.

Not a child friendly campsite! Bombarded with a list of rules to follow on arrival. Providing you have lights out by 10 and your children dare not make a noise before 8am the wardens leave you alone but god forbid they play with a ball the wardens are telling them off and sending young children to the unsecured field near a main road away from parents view to play.
There were also 2 banned breeds of dog on site which are “long stay” residents - one of which bit my child requiring hospital treatment which is now a police matter.
Shame they weren’t so strict with the rules then.
Owner of campsite also showed very little interest.
Pitches sloping but this clearly reported in other reviews.

Lovely dog walking area, but no bins to put dog bags in

We were impressed at the welcome and consideration given which allowed for a change of plan without penalty. We appreciated the ample hot water and heating in the shower block. Also appreciated the lack of notices warning people not to misbehave as those who do misbehave don’t read the notices anyway.

The location of this site is excellent, opposite the site is a bus stop with a service running directly into Stratford Upon Avon every hour, they have capped the fee to £2. Stratford has something for everyone you can spend the day and easily be entertained. For the fit ones you can walk in around 45minutes.
The site has a lovely dog walking area, be aware it is not completely secure and a busy main road runs alongside. There is a shop on site but only open at very limited times. The showers are small with shower curtains which get stuck to you while you shower, but the water was hot and powerful. The toilets need an upgrade but they are clean.
The site is kept clean, pitches are very tight. The lady at reception was lovely, so polite and helpful.
As most of the UK - the WiFi was poor. There are lots of lovely walks from the site, sign posted on the field next to dog walk is a public footpath, this will take you to a small village and on to the river, you can walk along the river edge which is lovely.

The rules are very strict, when my sister arrived she was greeted by a man who told her how to park on the pitch, he then told her if she parked wrong she would be moved and he has the right to send people off site.
The washing up area is directly outside the toilets and it is very tight, especially in the morning if people are queuing. There are only 2 cubicles in the male toilet and the que was out the door.
Be aware your pitch will be right up to the next one, if you have an awning there will be little to no room - we were lucky there were 2 vans so we made the centre of both our eating area

Clean facilities for shower. Access to a field for exercising dogs. Close to Stratford.

No dog poo bins at field. Shop had very limited opening hours 1.5 hours in the morning.
