It’s a lovely little site. The owner is very friendly and happy to help. The bed in the bell tent was comfortable. The Friday night pizza’s were amazing.

There are only two showers and one toilet and some porta loos for quite a busy site, you need to be up early to get in for a shower without a queue.

Lovely location and great for families. First time in visiting and will be back again.

Quiet site with walks along the river

Photo of kayaks led us to believe you could access the river from the site, but unfortunately it wouldn’t have been possible without getting seriously muddy.
It didn’t start well as had to wait over an hour to check in, it was actually 2 hours but we did arrive early. And the cafe was closed.
Having to pay £6 for the dog was a bit cheeky as no specific facilities for dogs.
Some information on walking/cycling routes from site would have been useful.
In the end we drove to Church Stretton and had a fab day walking and cycling so didn’t go back for 2nd night

Some space to walk nearby

The bell tent set up was not as advertised, they were pitched very close together (1 metre apart) which is not what is shown in the photos online. There was no camp kitchen (also shown in photo advertising the pitch). The interior was not as advertised either, it was smaller with no furniture apart from the double bed (we had to ask for the extra mattresses which were advertised). I do not recommend the glamping option at this site. The people in the bell tent next door decided to leave instead of stay the night. I complained and was told it was an old photo and I could have my money back, but there was nothing thing else they could do.

Only a couple showers - but they were clean and lovely.

Bar on site was perfect!! Very friendly and approachable.

The site is beautiful in a perfect place for walks. The river runs at the bottom of the site. I was surprised by the farm shop. The owner and staff we’re lovely and friendly. The bar/cafe was lovely with a beer garden. And they sold gluten free cake which is a winner for me

2 things that could be improved was the toilet shower areas. As in there was only 2 for the whole site and 1 other toilet. They were nice and clean but not enough. The other thing was the gravel path it was so noisy when you walk or drove on it. The electric pitch we were on was right next to it and it felt like people were coming in the van. The camp field next to the river is quite a walk and on a hill so most campers drove to the toilets and bar so it was a bit noisy at times. Otherwise a quiet site and if you weren’t on the electric pitches it most probably wouldn’t be an issue for you

Beautiful location, clean facilities, comfortable well thought out lodges, lots of wild flowers and lovely pond. Peaceful, gorgeous sunsets. Ice creams! Kids loved it.
