The surrounding woodland and estate was stunning and full of beautiful plants, trees and many species of bird. We saw a red squirrel close up on the "Long Walk", which we highly recommend. Fresh milkshakes from the Smiddy farm shop are great.

Went to safari park which was excellent and the multi entry ticket meant we could go when we wanted over the few days we were there. Smiddys is a lovely farm shop to visit, we also visited Doune Castle and the kelpies.Would definitely recommend the caravan site

Unfortunately the Humps are necessary due to people speeding on this road, and the estates first concern is for the safety of our visitors and for the local residents. Till drivers learn to drive responsibly im afraid the Humps will have to stay.
