添加您的业务详细信息If you’re veering off the beaten path in Brazil, then Camping Canto da Serra – in a conservation area of Mato Grosso state – is a mighty handy place to do it from. This rural park with access to plenty of nature trails is 15 minutes’ drive out from the small city of Barra do Garças and 20 minutes to the mountainous savannah forest of the Parque Estadual da Serra Azul.

Swap travel tips with other park guests beside the communal firepit at night and you might get informed about the mystical reputation of Barra do Garças. Many travellers turn up in town in the hopes of glimpsing the UFOs and odd unexplained lights regularly reported here.
Around the site, there are volleyball and football courts for an active hour or two, a pool for submerges with sunbeds alongside, and designated areas for group barbecues. Or find a secluded spot for pondering your next move: fishing, skydiving, hang gliding and trekking tours are all available in the local area.
Camping Canto da Serra also has hot and cold showers, toilets, water taps, a washing-up area and laundry facilities. A lakeside restaurant is less than a 25-minute walk away from the park and other eateries serving local food like Brazilian barbecue are over in Barra do Garças.

Barra do Garças is known as the Paradise of Waters: embrace its reputation with trips to the Serra Azul State Park for swims in the Cachoeira da Usina waterfall (20 minutes’ drive away), or seek out the city rivers’ freshwater beaches.
If you’ve not had enough of the water, head on a 25-minute journey to the Parque das Águas Quentes for the naturally heated thermal pools, lazy river, wet bar and three waterslides; another aquatic option for watersports is at the Porto do Baé harbour a 15-minute drive away.
For dry-land treks, the Serra do Roncador mountain range – the main spot for all the mystical activity often reported in the area – is an hour’s drive away.
