喜欢: - Excellent location, away from the road so no traffic and no light pollution - Nice firepit setup and spotless facilities - Drinking water on-site makes things easy - Cosy, tree-filled area. Really lovely - Melissa was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely return in future

喜欢: The site was extremely well thought out to encompass the idea of wild camping. Having to hike to the location and no vehicles being allowed on site helped with the concept of low noise and a more natural fee to the site. The owners were very welcoming and on call whenever you needed which made purchasing the wood for a cozy evening fire pit a breeze. We were very fortunate to have very good weather for our two day stay which only enhanced our experience.

不喜欢: A bit of oil and a rubber stopper on the gate in to stop in banging and screeching would be Devine 😉.

喜欢: This campsite is exactly what I needed. Wild enough to not take the ‘shine’ of the nature but with facilities. After a 8 hour cycle ride from Wrexham I was greeted by Dave who is a lovely gentleman. The site itself has flat and maintained pitches with extremely clean toilets and drinking water. The fact that it’s not accessible by cars was a bonus for me. A graft of a ride up from Betws-y-coed up the A5 but well worth it.

喜欢: Lovely site with a peaceful feel. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we arrived as we had some transport problems. The toilets are well kept and clean. Would recommend to those who are looking for the next best thing to wild camping with the luxury of running water.

喜欢: Lovely quiet campsite with well set-up little pitches with your own designated area. Well kept toilets and good to have the option of fire pits and hammocks. Owner was lovely and very welcoming!

不喜欢: Quite a few midges insects...not a major issue but more than i have encountered before on a Welsh campsite..However that is not the campsites fault...so nothing really.

喜欢: The Pitch and Hike Campsite provided an exceptional camping experience that beautifully balanced the charm of backpacking with a few welcome comforts. The combination of the natural beauty of the area, abundant wildlife (from tiny voles to majestic red kites), and the warm hospitality of our host made our short stay truly unforgettable. Even the midges couldn't detract from the experience! Our host's advice on approaching the Daear Ddu scramble up Moel Siabod was invaluable, and added some much needed context. It being the view from the tent was an added bonus! I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat as part of an adventure. Five stars, well-deserved! Also phone reception was great. That's always nice isn't it.
