If you’re setting off for Stirlingshire with your eye on finding lots of alfresco activities, you should certainly consider Cobleland Campsite as a base. A couple of miles south of Aberfoyle, this peaceful park is in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, just on the edge of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. That setting means miles and miles of walking and cycling trails stretch out through the surrounding area, with fishing and golf close by too – and watersports, treetop trails, cliff jumping and the like for more intrepid guests. And in fact you don't have to travel far to get started on soaking up the spectacular scenery – you can simply stick around on site, where oak trees tower over the pitches and there’s a backdrop of pretty forest views with the River Forth running along one side of the site. Just beyond the river are paths taking you straight out into Loch Ard Forest for a woodland wander or a dog walk if you’ve brought your pet with you. The pitches at Cobleland are well tended and spacious, with access to all the essential amenities including a launderette, a washing-up area and chemical disposal as well as bathrooms with toilets, showers and disabled facilities. Aberfoyle (five minutes’ drive) has a small supermarket for supplies, plus several places to eat and drink.

喜欢 The view was lovely and the restrooms were in excellent conditions, the staff were very helpful with instructions and were quite clear on the site.

不喜欢 The only thing i cas say would be that more showers would be a lovely addition to the stay as the one shower was occupied most of the time

喜欢 This was a beautifully maintained and extremely clean campsite. Oliver the owner was so helpful and kind. We traveled with our 2 young children (5 and 2) and stayed in the safari tents. They had linen and towels provided and were of a better quality than many hotels we have stayed in! We would hugely recommend and can't wait to return.

喜欢 Nothing to not like, site was in a beautiful setting, owners were so helpful and happy, happy campers all around, facilities were clean, enough to go round, even had laundry facilities, dogs are welcome and play area for children, good little shop, coffee/tea available to buy and a pizza van came round on Saturday night which was delicious and not expensive, well worth a visit, nothing is too much for the owners in helping you to make your stay easy, will definitely come back again, thank you for a lovely holiday
