喜欢 Wonderful campsite. Lovely setting. Just what we needed. Basic, but working facilities. Picnic benches with every pitch (in ‘the clearing’).
不喜欢 Dog poo left by another group in the middle of the communal area. We told the campsite owner upon departure. He was brilliant at dealing with the situation.

喜欢 We loved the open space and lots of room that we had as two biggish families, as well as the organised layout of the three camping areas with the shower/toilets/kitchen centrally located.
The host was so friendly and helpful as well, and we loved how organised and green conscious he was.
不喜欢 It did take some logistics to organise our recycling at our tents (we should have brought more bin bags) but very clearly organised best the toilets.

Beautiful site surrounded by meadows and woodland

喜欢 * Fantastic spot which is easy to get to by car
* Spacious pitches (large enough for three 2-person tents or one large tent), surrounded by trees and big enough to have your own sense of "space", rather than being crammed together.
* Opportunity to have a campfire or barbecue (you can either book a pitch with a firepit option or bring a portable BBQ, so long as it's elevated off the ground)
* Amenities, the toilets in particular, were clean and easy to access
* Owner was very friendly and helpful (you "check in" remotely but he happened to be at the site when we arrived)
* The site is surrounded by woodland, perfect for an evening walk (we even spotted a deer!)
One of the nicest sites I've been to - ours was a quick and easy drive, but the site itself was sheltered from the noise of the road. Would happily come here again. 🏕️🔥
