喜欢 Beautiful site, lovely large pitches. Amazing countryside on the doorstep - walks and bike rides directly from the site.
Within walking distance of a pub and small shop so we could just pitch up and enjoy our holiday!
The owner, Jess, was so helpful with local knowledge and advice it made it a wonderful break. She even helped us with a little bit of personal admin - which was above and beyond any expectations.
Highly recommended.

喜欢 Absolute perfection! All new campsites should be modelled on this one. Great pitches, fab views, pristine facilities, excellent location, but topped off by the nicest owner you could possibly meet! Jess is just lovely. Will do anything tonight help out. Super friendly!! Will definitely be back.

Sporty souls can get out into the breathtaking Wye Valley National Landscape (20 minutes’ drive) for days of canoeing, paddleboarding or cycling along the River Wye. There’s also challenging climbing at Symonds Yat (half an hour), while gorge climbing or abseiling are on hand for adrenaline junkies. More sedate local pursuits include a steam-train ride aboard the Dean Forest Railway (10 minutes), which also offers lots of family-friendly attractions like murder mystery evenings. For outdoor fun in enchanting, moss-covered forest, the walking routes at Puzzlewood (also 10 minutes) are suitable for kids, and you can all learn about local history in the reconstructed cottages and museum at the Dean Heritage Centre (15 minutes). The spectacular remains of Cistercian Tintern Abbey (half an hour) have a gorgeous setting by the River Wye. Goodrich Castle (25 minutes) is another stunning spot where you can clamber up Norman-era towers, brave the dungeons and see relics of exquisite stained-glass windows in its half-ruined chapel.
