Chip shop was nice food.

Honestly never stayed in such a S* hole in all my years camping. I've never written a bad review either but i feel the need to warn people against this place.

Our pitch was covered in fag butt's and dog poo, where the live on people just use them as their back gardens.

Toilets/ showers are in desperate need of a deep clean, the floors are black! Fag ash and rubbish everywhere, most of the time no loo roll or even soap. I mentioned this to the cleaner I saw in the morning, after returning later that day they still wasn't refilled and the rubbish was still in the sinks and on the floors.

The swimming pool. Im pretty sure i was meant to see the floor through the water?! But guess what, this too was gross. I don't know how people have not been ill from it.

I have to mention that the club house doesn't kick out until 1am, so if you're going with young children good luck. My little ones were woken several times to drunken fights and noise. People coming back and then having parties in their tents until 3/4am. Security does nothing about it.

The children's playground was also a safety concern. Rubbish everywhere including smashed vodka bottles.

This site is not family friendly at all and should not be classed as a 'holiday park'.
The owners clearly don't care about the state of this site, its no wonder people staying there had any respect for it either.
However, if you're like one of the many parents I saw getting drunk and stoned all day and letting your kids run wild then this is right up your street.

The indoor pool

The complete lack of regard of many fellow site visitors to the ‘rules’ of no kids wandering around after 9, and the noise levels right up to 0045 on two nights and always midnight other nights was awful. Impossible to sleep, especially with young children, with folks shouting and walking between pitches. I dreaded the nights.

Entertainment was brilliant for adults and children, showers clean plenty of hot water, there were issues with some of the toilets not sure if its drainage, staff were all lovely, swimming was lovely, I would definitely take my grandsons back again.

I never ever give reviews on anything but i will make an exception this time. The reviews we read for this site before booking were very poor ( more like a travellers site etc) but as we could not find another site close by, and thought it couldn't be that bad, we booked 4 nights, and found the previous poor reviews were spot on . Although we paid high season prices none of the facilities were open and not going to be until the school holidays apparently. The pitch next to us had food waste, bags of chips , bread etc, bottles , tins and other waste left behind. We reported it but nothing was done. The seagulls cleaned up the food waste but the rest stayed there. The site was noisy with loud music and shouting late in to the night. The site was grubby and poorly maintained.

They refunded me when I said we were leaving having explored the site.

Site very tired. Clearly once a great place, but it was unclean, facilities not tended too and not a safe feeling. We left immediately.

Good location for the arena, not busy so very quiet. Adequate facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cafe/bar not open. On arriving not clear where reception was.

This appears more like a residential even a travellers site, especially at first glance. The storage part as you enter is a mess with very old vans and people apparently living in them. The showers and facilities are old and tatty and not very clean at all.

Club house, indoor pool, chip shop, shop all on site. Staff in all areas friendly, helpful and worked hard
