Family friendly. My daughter loved the play park. We were located really close to it so was ideal. Like the fact that there were showers and a dish washing area. Good location. We liked this site so much we decided to stay an extra night. Lots to do in and around the local area. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Much preferred it through the week. The weekend was a lot busier and a different vibe. Seemed a little more noisy which was fine for us but I don't think other campers would have appreciated the loud music so late on at night. All In all I would defo rebook with thus site.

Showers and toilets need a little updating but the site is currently going through a big development so I'm sure this will be updated in time. Nothing I didn't really like in all honesty.

Lack of staff presence , no welcome mid week. Just pitched up .Got a phone call to pay mid journey which I found very impersonal. Even when the staff were there , it was like a free for all for pitches and they didn't seem to enforce any rules or open the shop, which in high season we found odd.
The pitch up advert is falsely advertising a few features. There is no WiFi , no bath, no cafe or bar on site as it states and the shop was never open.
I believe they were slightly overcharging for essentially a nice enough field because the toilets and showers were filthy despite what people have said, I don't know where they were looking because they were not clean , constantly stinks and the floor was very weak in the disabled and parts of ladies . We actually ended up staying in premier inn so my disabled partner and child could shower because they refused to onsite . I appreciate work was going on to improve the site but in my opinion the people camping now and paying their hard earned money should be just as important as the holidaymakers of the future.

View and lots of space, although our kids are older the younger ones on site loved these trim trail, my 12 year old gave it a go! Very relaxed camp site! Fire pit was great, not a lot of sites allow this so amused our 15year old
