Close to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Lovely quiet meadow for peaceful family camping trip.

2 lovely camping fields with a wonder steam meandering around the perimeter (the 3rd field wasn’t very special). Kingfishers seen in the river

Lots and lots of space to set up with open views across the camping fields.

Dark skies at night, soft rolling mist in the evenings and mornings, Owls calling out across the adjacent wood land.

Amy was a very helpful host

One very small cold water wash hand basin in each of the toilet trailers - only good for basic post toilet use hand washing. For evening and morning cleansing campers were using the ons outside dishwashing sink as that had some hot water.

Regular queues at the one dishwashing sink for both dishes and people washing themselves.

Angry Hornets moved into the toilet cabins at night (not the campsites fault) so we used the second toilet cabin slightly up the hill. There was no power so head torch territory only and no hot water again.

Of the 4 showers one was always cold water. The others were hot until others used the other units - then is was wait until yours got hot or just finish off cold.

It seems the drainage wasn’t working well as used dirty water with ‘suds’ was pooling behind and under the showers and washing up sink.

The fresh water taps around the fields had not been cleared of brambles / nettles - so that was a bit of a job to do to allow easier use.

The vegetation overall could have been managed better to give river bank locations to sit and watch rather than trying to peer through brambles etc. Some mowing similarly.

Beautiful quiet and spacious pitch with clean toilets and shower nearby. Everything we needed for a lovely weekend away from it all.

Beautiful open fields. Clear running stream, Very close to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Doir. Excellent pub restaurants along the coastal areas. Easy driving, not many skinny lanes!
Amy is a lovely friendly host.

Shower facilities could be better planned as they didn’t drain very well

Lovely wild camping by a small river and under the trees (it was very hot!) and Amy and her children were so helpful in getting us set up. My 5 year old loved using the paddleboard and kayak to potter round the little lake and we cooled off with paddling in the ford. It was quiet in the evenings, we stayed in the field that doesn't allow cars. Toilets and showers also excellent. Huge thanks for a lovely stay.

Great location, friendly and welcoming, reasonably priced, clean facilities, complimentary fire start essentials, paddle board and kayak for guest use...my boys loved this!!! Paddle stream surrounding site, my youngest was in water heaven! Couldn't fault this place and will definitely returning. Fantastic first stay at Misty Meadows😊👍

Lots of space, grass with no prickles and nice and level. The stream is lovely, and summer holiday children aside it's super peaceful (no road noise). There are a few trees for pitching in shade too. Great showers, proper toilets and friendly staff.

Water tap in a really inconvenient place for campervans to fill up! You just have to block the entrance track for a while
