Everything - view from site is stunning, farmhouse cafe/bar was well stocked with plenty of choice, shower/toilet block was spotlessly clean, friendly staff.

Site was great. Ran by people who are really friendly and helpful. The owner who we called "friendly guy" helped with pushing the caravan into the pitch as it was a bit muddy. Site entrance is a bit tight but as long as you take it wide it's fine. Read in a review there was no lights in the toilets, there are you just have to turn them on. Our children loved seeing the trains going past the caravan and in the words of our 3 year old "the train are taking me to sleep". There's goats on site that you can get feed for at the on site shop which is well stocked with local produce. On site bar was a lovely surprise when we got there, didn't try the coffee but it was all hand pulled espresso so must have been nice! Even had a visit from the farm dog!

An addition from the other half: water pressure was amazing, filled the aquaroll in seconds! Real bonus when setting up.

Only 2 showers and toilets

Owner couldn’t do enough, the team were so friendly and helpful.
Forward thinking of the team prevented many of us sinking into the mud !

Unable to locate waste water grid.
Would also be helpful for a dry rubber brush in the shower

Location/helpful friendly staff/ very wet conditions but they went out of their way supplying matts etc to allow camping to take place

Lovely site with very helpful staff.
Our pitch was next to a field of 3 highland cattle and an occasional pygmy goat. Useful shop serving coffee etc in the morning. The children enjoyed the trains going past several times a day.

I wonder whether the site might need more toilets/showers at busier times.

Lovely position near the beach and station for Barmouth and beyond. Onsite shop well stocked.

Grass pitches only which became very wet and everybody needed a tow out. Wi-Fi only available in cafe/bar which was not open much. Showers extra charge so nightly fee seemed not competitive
