Showers start off very nice and warm but went cold after a couple minutes, I also overheard another person having the same issue.

Waste removal is a logistical issue beyond our control and we are now having to ask campers to take it away with them, this may seem like an inconvenience but as we're all being encouraged to do our bit to be responsible for the waste we create, why not on holiday too? No facilities or amenities & no-one to speak to to complain.
Text message received on day of check in saying rubbish will not be collected, so take it all home with you.
No vehicle access to tent, so everything has to be wheel-barrowed in!
Access is via a single track lane and then immediately onto the dual carriageway - one direction only.
All in all, I really can’t recommend this site & am very surprised that it’s displaying an 8.9 record from PitchUp.
A quick read of the email we send out with arrival details and site info would have avoided all of your 'complaints'. It clearly explains both on Pitchup and the email that this is a small 10 pitch self service site with no vehicle access to the field which is very popular with families with young children :-). There are 2 showers, 3 toilets and 15m wide flat and slightly sloping (as advertised) pitches. Don't know what you mean by no facilities or amenities, we have everything as advertised on our Pitchup page and if you managed to read the 'Reminder' text about waste then you also had access to the site manager's phone number (which is also in the email and on notice boards around the site!) if you'd wanted to speak with someone. We much prefer customers to raise issues during their stay so they can be addressed properly at the time rather than bad mouth us once they've left. A single track lane? Yes, this is DEVON!!
