It was very windy weekend and unfortunately the wind was in the wrong direction blowing from the farm carrying some noise. We offered Adrian any pitch he wanted and he seemed happy to choose the pitch next the entrance road. This pitch was not near the WIFI boasters of which we have 3 WIFI boasters across the site, it is complimentary WIFI that we do not charge for. If WIFI was important we could have recommended more suitable pitches closer the WIFI points. It is very difficult and expensive to cover 2 acres of grass with good WIFI.

I believed we offered Adrian a complimentary bottle of red or white wine and an apology about the noise which seemed louder due to wind direction, and he took a bottle of red wine.

Porridge has a subtle pleasant smell and on certain days we make strawberry and maple and banana granola. The smell of baked strawberries are delicious! We make porridge, granolas and oat milks which we sell in the little honesty box shop. We are a cereal farm with no cattle or sheep or their associated smells so the cooking of cereals should not really qualify as a complaint.

We have real flowers and plants, and the owner Rebecca likes to add a bit of colour and put some silk flowers around the campsite. This is your personal preference if you don't like them but most people like a bit of colour.

The caravans parked up are for seasonal pitches for people to come and go. They are not dirty or green, maybe a bit dusty from being parked up. As for the age of the caravans unfortunately not everyone can afford new ones but the caravans are no more than 10 years old.

We finish work in the evenings during weekdays so it is quieter then and also at the weekend when we don't work. However we can offer quieter pitches further away from the entrance road.

There are two water taps around the site and may be someone was using the other tap which momentarily made the pressure drop. Normally we are not very busy. The showers and toilets cleaned and serviced regularly and their appearance can be seen in the pictures on the website.

Sorry about the poor signal for Vodafone but it is something out of our control. We don't have a problem with EE and O2 services. Most people enjoy our free good WIFI service which other campsites often charge for.

We had a very busy Bank Holiday weekend with lovely warm weather and folk demanding showers, water and WIFI downloading films etc. Normally the facilities eg showers and WIFI are adequate for the size of site we have.

We have put notices to politely request campers to perhaps avoid peak times for showers eg first thing in the morning when everybody wants to have a shower at the same time.
