Fully serviced pitches probably the worst pitches on site, dirty gravel with no grassed area to sit out on. Electric and water posts for serviced pitches filthy and covered in dirt and green algae.
Poor attention to detail throughout the site.
Fires were allowed so smoke from a nearby pitch making it impossible to sit out one evening and all caravan doors and windows needed to be closed. Possibly a fire hazard as tents and caravans all pitched together in quite close proximity.
It appeared ball games were allowed in close proximity to pitches (on the road between pitches).
Nowhere to walk to from site, needed to use the car.
Would not visit again.

You have mentioned your fully serviced hardstanding “dirty” gravel pitch with no grass to sit on, i have just checked your booking and you had booked a fully serviced hardstanding pitch but when booking with pitch up we offer fully serviced hardstanding/grass pitches. We are sorry you found our facilities dirty along with the service pitches but as you could appreciate prior to your arrival we have had bad weather for a couple of weeks, also to mention our facilities are cleaned once a day and all guests staying over the Easter weekend had been informed that due to building work on our second facilities block this would cause a over use in the main facility/ reception area. We have all fire /safety assessments in place in regards to your fire pit comment, when you come camping you can only expect others to be having fires / bbq’s as this is all part off the enjoyment and lastly we do allow ball games but if this was causing a issue with your pitch, we would off preferred if you had spoken to management about this concern before departing.
