Lovely spot with great views, easy to find and friendly staff. All the facilities were well kept and only a 15 minute walk to the pub!

Absoloutly perfect☺️ everyone was so friendly, it was so peaceful, quiet and beautiful scenery, I couldn’t of asked for a better stay, it was such an excellent place with clean facilities, friendly staff

Camp site on a working farm, on arrival we was greeted by the owner (lovely gentleman) who gave us an option on where to pitch our tent, he gave us the pros and cons on both areas (river side and hill side).
He was very friendly and approachable throughout our stay.
The views were beautiful no matter where you walked on site.
The facilities were very well kept and always clean.
Was able to hire fire pit and logs on site very cheep.
Overall was a lovely stay and would definitely go back.
They also have a beautiful peacock on site who we fell in love with.

The site was beautiful. So peaceful, easy access to the site which was all level.
The owner clearly takes pride in the site which was much appreciated.
The location was great, lots to see and do within walking distance (or bus option) in and around the area.
The sheep were fascinating to watch too.

I liked the location and that we were based on a working farm. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a little shop on site for milk

The Kipper Cabin is an absolute delight. It was dog friendly, well equipped, well laid out, thoughtfully furnished, in a good setting (not helped by main road noise, but it was quite tolerable and we still recommend it), the friendly owners, a handy shop onsite, good parking, and the facilities are very good if you're looking for a quiet, tidy, straightened site experience from which to use as a base to explore Cumbria.

We had a visit from a red squirrel 🐿️

Not much to dislike! We had dozens of large moths which had to be ejected - unfortunately our dog has a thing about flying insects and had a meltdown 😫. Some tea/coffee sachets would have been appreciated.
A sensor light would help for the outside toilet.
There was no wood to use the fire.
