Think on booking in it would be better to remind people that it’s a quiet site and that music isn’t to be played - we booked for those reasons and were disappointed with someone pitching whilst we were away, they played music and seemingly didn’t realise that tents don’t have brick walls - chatting loudly into the night. I said we wouldn’t stay here again for those reasons - it was the same on our last trip here, and whilst it’s probably another one off it is a huge let down to us.

I saw a lady fall through a rotten decking board - staff had already clocked off for the evening so no one was around to sort out the health and safety aspect of a great big hole in the walkway so we had to find a piece of wood to cover it. I don’t think the staff took any notice of the lady that was hurt either which wasn’t nice.

Our facilities are checked and cleaned a minimum of three times daily, and guests are always encouraged to report any issues immediately – this is clearly displayed around site. The decking board you mentioned was identified and fixed on the very first checks the following morning. Our team did speak with a gentleman present at the time of the incident and enquired if first aid was needed, but were advised it was not required.
We are on site 24/7 and always happy to respond promptly if guests let us know of any concerns at the time, rather than afterwards. Guest safety and cleanliness are a top priority for us, and we take all reports seriously.
