Lovely spot, couldn’t fault the facilities. Easy to get to Castle Howard nearby and a little further but still convenient for the Yorkshire Moors.

Shame you needed coins for the hairdryers

Clean & well-kept as usual.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is ideal for York, the Yorkshire Coast and the fabulous Yorkshire Dales. All within 45 -60 minutes drive

York Park & Ride is only 4 miles away.

Loved the pitch spacing and area infront of pitch for kids to play.
Loved how clean and tidy the site was.
Loved how friendly all the staff were.

The only dislike is that the shower doesn't stay on long enough, it felt like every 3 seconds you were having to press the button again which makes washing hair and assisting kids quite difficult. However this isn't the end of the world.

Great location, close to York and other local attractions.

Clean facilities and generously sized pitches

Location was great right off the A64, facilities were clean and very close to the grass pitches, owners were lovely and checked on us all after a heavy rain storm.

Showers were a little small, everything will get wet when using it.

What a fantastic site. Plenty of facilities. Hot / cold water. Good clean showers and toilets. Plenty of room on the pitch. 10 amp Electric hook up ✔️ The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The main road doesn’t appear that close but it’s quite busy and you can hear it a night. Wasn’t too bad.

First thought very nice friendly and informative wardens, site kept very clean and tidy, very quiet site, facilities spotless, showers warm and a good size, good notice board for info etc, the hard standing pitch very slight slope Levellers sorted that but a good size, bus to York stops right outside the entrance, all in all will definitely be back here, we have our favourite sites all over the country and this as been added to that list,so see you next year God willing, thanks again wardens.

Friendly atmosphere and nice clean facilities. The children loved popping down to the shop for an ice lolly.
