The area the campsite was located in. Very friendly woman owner who came to explain the facilities available to us.

Compost toilets and urinals that were extremely smelly. Unclean showers. No hand towels.

Really great campsite. Love the eco vibes. In the countryside, so quiet and nice view of the stars, but also very close to beaches and the town of Bude. In particular I loved the wall along the canal to get to Bude, that was very lovely. Also, some very friendly kitties at home at the site, which was delightful. The staff were great, very helpful when we arrived.

The ambience, the effort that one person appeared to have put in in order to make the campsite charming, whimsical and sustainable. It felt very touching. The pitches were generous and the view from the field on the right as you enter the site was particularly lovely. Being able to hear the sea was wonderful and the sites proximity to the town, beach and coast path were great for walking and swimming. I loved the artwork in the loos and around the site and the little nature walk with giant chess set. We also visited the rescue animals on a daily basis. The compost loos were kept clean and the showers functioned fine. The site is very cheap, so we weren't expecting any kind of deluxe experience. What we had instead was something individual and eccentric, something that we both love.

The campsite was in a beautiful location and well maintained. The owner was lovely and so helpful letting us know different ways to get to the beach and the town.

Lovely place to pitch up, easy walk/ drive to the town centre of bude and perfect location for beaches to surf at, hostess is very friendly and welcoming, our second stay and is definitely our spot when we want to visit bude!

Location is a short walk to Summerleaze beach (option to walk along the canal too).

The lady that runs the eco camp is very accommodating and helpful.
Fire pits available (but bring your own wood)

Showers were too hot to use in the morning, would recommend using them in the afternoon/evening
