Lovely setting. Easy to find. Just pull up and hook up. Facilities were very modern and clean. Will be back

Path to toliets/showers could do with more gravel and special attention to areas that get very muddy

Really loved the relaxed approach from the owners. They came to say hello when we arrived, made sure we were ok then left us to enjoy our stay. The site was small but had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The area was superb as was the welcome and food at the local pub, The Red Lion.

There was nothing we disliked but a couple of things that could enhance the stay for visitors...
Designated stone or paved walkways to the water and waste points. (The grass was very long).

A hose provided at the waste point so we could wash down the waste facility after use because when you lifted the lid it did smell a bit.

A very quiet peaceful spot (apart from the nesting crows who were up very early!). Clean, well maintained toilets. I didn’t arrive until after dark and left early next morning but I was very grateful for the lighting along the path to the toilet block.
A short walk down to the river which would be lovely in summer but had some large puddles (like the rest of the country after the wet winter we’ve had!)
Even in the short time I was there this felt like a proper campsite - simple and yet well maintained with smells and sounds of the farm and countryside. I would like to come back in summer.

It might have been helpful to have a little sign at the end of the path confirming that the toilets were at the other end but that was only because I arrived after dark. I was happy to go exploring!
With all the gravel pitches taken and cars parked by caravans there was limited turning space. This had resulted in wheels cutting up the grass in places.

A fabulous well kept site. You can take some great walks along the Severn (plus others) and the Red Lion has a good reputation for food.

Peaceful location, nice views/nature, good gravel pitch. Basic but good facilities, everything you need, nicely kept and decorated small shower/toilet block, good walks /dog walking along the estuary and through the forest, lots of birdsong first thing in the morning.

No hand drying facilities in the toilets, no paper towels, hand towels or hand dryer.
Local Dog walkers allowing their dogs to run into the site across your pitch. Not great when own dog sat quietly tethered on own pitch or for people who don't like or are afraid of dogs.
No bus service on Saturdays or Sundays so have to drive or long walk to neighbouring villages.

Love the peacefulness and the toilet/shower block always clean
It’s our second stay in the last month… like the new solar lite path to the toilets … site always spotlessly clean…. Minimal but absolutely perfect to relax and go for walk or visit the local

Definitely not a dislike but a suggestion.. maybe stepping stones or path to bin area and fresh water tap would be brilliant

Lovely location, great pub, wonderful for walking and cycling, will be back when then weather improves.
