So much to do onsite, fully stocked shop lots of games and sports for guests to use and clean, warm toilets and shower block. We camped in the ocean view field and the views were incredible!

Different choice of food on offer each night, that looked lovely. We didn’t eat, but noticed the lovely looking specials on pizza night - chocolate brownie and fries to accompany the pizzas 😋

Tent field was a little loud, but we went to bed early 🙈 and the field was super busy. Showers and toilets were a bit of a treck, and a steep hill to get back to our tent. But again, it was our choice to pitch up where we did. We could’ve gone closer to the showers.

This was our first stay at this campsite. We were impressed from the offset. We had a friendly welcome from Nick upon arrival, there was plenty of space to pitch, walk and explore, and more than enough clean facilities. The cherry on the cake was the stunning views. Having access to Broadsands beach was the absolute highlight for us! If you're brave enough to tackle the steep steps down, you'll be well rewarded with an amazing swimming spot.

The campsite was in a great location, and our particular pitch (C7) had a fantastic view. The pitches were fairly spaced and the facilities weren't too far away given we were at the far end of the campsite, although they were down a steep hill! The shop, extra facilities (freezer, laundry etc) and the games were all working and much used by the guests. The addition of the food hut was great for a day off from cooking, a small menu but tasty food. The more modern shower block was great, always clean and in working order, the others had a couple too many spiders for my liking but they were available.

The staff (Nick in particular) was very friendly, helped with an issue with our pitch and always had a laugh and joke when I popped in the shop.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend, and may be back next summer!

Beautiful views, clean facilities, friendly vibe. We travelled with our 4 month old baby and he had a brilliant time. The beach down the steps is amazing for a morning swim!

We chose to go in unallocated ocean view which was on a slope - totally our decision, but made some bits of camping interesting!

Lovely site. Friendly people. Clean, good facilities, good showers and such a beautiful area. Local beach through the campsite and down quite a few steps, so worth it, stunning. Harbour next door great for sunsets, walking and fishing! Local buses to Ilfracombe and Combe Martin and beyond if you don't want to pay the parking. Lovely good menu from an external but site based family, good choices of food at fair prices. Small shop which stocks the basics. Nice pub at the end of the campsite too! Will definitely be back x

Nothing to dislike

Location close to Sawmills pub and Watermouth cove, good for walking the dog. Cool in the wooded valley with plenty of shade in the very hot and humid conditions we experienced. Large pitches but grass was getting worn by early September. New toilet block nice but often a queue, old ones behind reception poor but block up the valley perfectly acceptable. Pitches on top of the hill had spectacular views but we couldn't have put up with the climb back after visiting the facilities. Own beach looked lovely from the top but 203 steps down too much for us. Many made it there though.

Wish the mower picked up cuttings as they trod in. Old shower block behind reception needs renovation. A lot of pitches not level, not so much of a problem to us caravanners but some motorhomes struggled. It seems that they do their best to give motorhomes the most level pitches. Managed fine with our caravan pitch.

Liked everything about this site. Lovely valley but also cliff top views. Reception always helpful and friendly. Family area ,laundry, and the evening food outlet with the saw mill pub so close means there's something for everyone .the walk and steps to beach were a challenge but well worth the effort. Really clean and well kept site .we will be back .
