Very picturesque site very close to the harbour and the castle. Lots of trees for shade and the hills around provide shade too. There is a big freezer for ice packs. The food options are very good. There is take away or if you walk through the campsite to the end there is the Sawmill Inn right next door which is a very good pub with a full menu. The campsite is very, very clean.

I think this point would be a negative for some people but it's also a big positive. One part of the site has a steep slope. It doesn't have any pitches and is used for a play area and dog walking. The big positive is that people take their chairs and a bottle of wine and sit up there and watch the sunset as it disappears into the sea. It's lovely. It's the only place the sea is visible from the campsite but there is also a spectacular view of the sunset from the harbour for those who cannot manage the walk up the steep slope.
WiFi is a bit patchy too.

Literally everything about this place. We will be back next year and from what we gather a lot of people are regulars to this campsite it’s so good! All the facilities exceeded our expectations, they have food every evening onsite, a bar, shop and play park! Walk up the hill at the far end of the campsite and down some steps (quite a few) and you find a lovely secluded beach amazing!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We found Watermouth so far the best holiday camp to date. The children absolutely loved it there. The freedom we were able to give our children in terms of being able to go to the park, kids club, play table tennis, scoot around. All the staff have been exceptional.
The pitch itself was huge and would have been enough to put another caravan next to us. The harbour is a short walk away, the nearest beach is a trek away, but what a beauty. Combe Martin is beautiful. We will be back for sure❤️.

Our pitch was on a slope which on a wet day was a bit of struggle to get the caravan up there. But once in, we loved it. Thank you.

Beautiful setting, catering onsite, super clean toilets, showers high pressurewith plentyof hot water,friendly staff, clean pitch, pub within walking distance, dog exercise field, easy access to public transport, surrounded by nature.

Playground is bit outdated and could use some maintenance and cleaning

The views were incredible, the staff were super friendly, the whole site was really clean & tidy, the showers & toilets were constantly cleaned & it had a really friendly atmosphere for us & the kids. Oh a the beach- amazing, take a paddle board & explore, at sunset the dolphins & seals come out to play.

The toilets & showers were all down the bottom due to planning restrictions, but the view & site as a whole more than made up for this.

shower and toilets spotless, very quite at late evenings, lovely children's outdoor close to the woods play area for family's with young children, everyone was very friendly, overall facilities very good small bar, food, eating area.

steps down to the beach can be difficult for some people but not impossible

This was the best campsite we have been to so far. They were so so helpful. We decided we wanted to stay for another 2 days and they helped us to do that even though they were fully booked they moved things around so that we could stay another 2 days and we were so appreciative. The campsite is lovely and clean the toilet and shower blocks are really well kept. There is a great little well stocked shop and there is also food on site, which was really really nice.
