Site is clean and well looked after. Lovely toilets and showers. Takeaway food/bar.

On the 301 bus to Ilfracombe and Combe Martin, plus a short walk from the closest pub. Harbour is pretty. Campsite is on coastal path.

(We didn't have kids with us but would recommend to those who do as there's a room for kids/teens for when the weather is bad as well as a excellent play area.)

The campsite is on a hill, with all the facilities at the bottom of the hill. So you can't have a view *and* be near facilities.

The beach is pretty inaccessible. It's not just 240 steps down to the beach, but you have to climb up a large hill to get to the top of the steps first!

We had such a wonderful time at Watermouth Valley and can't wait to return. It is in a beautiful location and, has everything you need. The facilities are spotless and the staff are all very friendly. The kids park was a favourite along with the food hut, especially Sunday roast! We travelled to Croyde and Saunton beaches, about 30 minutes drive and had a great time at both. Ilfracombe is lovely with all the amenities you need and only 5 - 10 minutes drive. Don't hesitate to book this stunning site!

Use to come here as a child every year with my parents, now 16 years later I’ve been able to take my own family here and it’s been amazing!
We were on a sea view pitch and the views are incredible!

There’s a lovely private beach just for the campsite that you walk through the woods and down a load of steps to get to and it’s amazing!

They have plenty of toilets and showers, a play park for the kids and a stream the kids can splash in.

There’s a lovely harbour which the sun sets perfectly in, and it’s only a 5 min walk from the campsite.

They have a shop for necessities too

It’s just perfect and I will now be making sure we come here every year like my parents did for me as it’s just my big happy place!

Was gutted they no longer do the tractor rides for the kids and the taboggon run they use to do when I was little but fully aware that health and safety rules now a days are ridiculous so i do understand why they don’t/can’t do it anymore

After moving on from South Devon, managed to secure a spot here… although it had been raining I can’t think of a prefect place to have pitched. Liked well that is the question. This family run site was very welcoming and accommodated all ages. It had everything you needed to be very comfortable. The site has fantastic views and its own private beach which was a bit challenge regarding steps but was worth every step taken. The coastal walks were stunning even on a wet day! Definitely returning!

Nothing to dislike just more of a tip… bring more cash than you usual would as the extra facilities prefer cash.

The lovely people at the food stall and the bar really made the whole experience welcoming.

Unfortunately the only thing I would have to put here is that on the last night a huge huge of people turned up who were very noisy up until very late hours, running their cars with lights on right outside people's tents including ours. And being very loud after the quiet time hour!

Watermouth Valley Camping Park: A Perfect Family Getaway
I recently had a fantastic camping trip with my family at Watermouth Valley Camping Park. The campsite offered a wide range of facilities, including clean toilets, showers, a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a nice playground for kids.
The location was ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. We enjoyed hiking in the nearby trails and swimming in the local beach. Additionally, there were adorable sheep grazing nearby, which was a delightful surprise for the kids. The campsite also had a bar and food truck, making it convenient to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink without having to leave the site.
The staff at the campsite were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Watermouth Valley Camping Park for families seeking a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience. The beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, and friendly staff made it the perfect destination for our getaway.

Amazing views, 10 minute walk to an incredible beach with allows dogs. Drink and food in the evening was amazing and good value for money. Amazing facilities, all clean. Play park for children was brilliant. Overall a fantastic stay and we will be back again!

No WiFi available from what we could see but didn't make our stay less enjoyable as we were there to spend time as a family.

Brilliant pitch overlooking the ocean with plenty of room. Very much liked the fact that there was a large freezer in the washing room to re freeze ice blocks and fishing bait.
Nice people at reception and altogether very friendly and tranquil place to stay

The camp beach was very beautiful and quiet stunning panoramic views but too many steps down especially if carrying beach items
