Warm and welcoming campsite with all amenities you need for a pleasant stay provided on site. We had a pitch in the valley which was very generously sized, and easy walk to the pub next door along with the on site facilities. The food and drinks vendors are a lovely addition and great value for money. The view from the top field during sunset was a particular highlight for us.
The showers and toilets were immaculate every time we used them and easy walk from the valley pitches. There was also somewhere to plug a hairdryer in which was a big win!
Along with there being plenty to keep you occupied on site, we found the site well positioned for daytrips around north Devon.
It’s a shame that Broadsands Beach was closed during our stay (but obviously beyond control of the campsite), but all the more reason to visit again in the future!

More of a heads-up than a ‘dislike’; we had some road noise as our pitch was close to the road - we were fine with ear plugs, but suggest any light sleepers do the same :)

Different food options everyday, the cutest little bar and all the little games available around the campsite!

Facilities: very good toilets, showers, water, proximity to the pub, children play area.

How close the tent pitches are to the road - we needed to use earplugs otherwise it felt like we are camping on a roundabout.

There was food served on site for a good price and a menu was provided on arrival.
It is in a pretty location with plenty of walks around.
The showers are the best showers we have had since starting camping. The fact you don’t have to press button or a sensor every 1 minute for the shower and it’s immediate hot water!
Decent sized pitches and site is very clean and tidy.

The place is simply gorgeous. The whole area is very well-kept and clean. I was very pleased that there is a cafe and a small shop at the reception. I will definitely come back to this place and will recommend it to my friends. My rating is 10 out of 10

The site is so well catered for with a food hut every night, clean shower rooms, table tennis, a shop and seperate dog walking field. We pictched up in the sea view area (non allocated) and had a lovely view of the ocean in between the allocated area tents and campers. The site is close to Illfracombe and about a 20 min drive to Woolacombe.

Broadsands Beach was unfortunately inaccessible due to a landslide. It would have been ideal to have been informed about this before our stay, as one of the main reasons for booking. There is still no where on the booking area that warns of this, so if that is a reason for staying here, do check when it is open! (Estimated September) you can however still get a great view of the bay from a viewpoint above.

Probably the best campsite we've visited it's got everything clean tidy hot showers shop, different food every day a bar , big screen TV even a pub right outside the gate bus stop. & the scenery is exceptional stunning , a massive secure dog walking area & it's on the sw costal path small harbour next door. What's not to like all for £ 29 excellent value 5 *****
