It was great to be able to have our own BBQ and open fire if we wanted. It was handy having the shop for essentials (ice cream) definitely the best site we have been to.

The pitch size was good and the size of the campsite over all was excellent. The activities were excellent value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a fun stay and my 9 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed all the activities she took part in. We didn’t have to wait too long for any given activity but would say that our stay was mid week so this may have helped.
Не понравилось: I would say that the toilet block for our field was definitely past it’s best and was always dirty. It was cleaned regularly- it was more that it was old, there were no facilities for people to clean showers after use and with all the best will in the world with a wet floor constantly it got dirty quickly. It was also a shame that the kitchen was closed in the evening as we’d planned on eating here and didn’t bring cooking equipment as believed there would be facilities for meals on site all day. Lunch was available in the bar but there was no breakfast or evening meal. We did find an alternative place for our evening meal in Walesby which was excellent. The one thing I felt the site could really benefit from was a playground. There is lots to do, but activities are morning and afternoon and entertainment wasn’t offered every night. It would be great to have a playground where kids could go when there aren’t scheduled activities
