I emailed ahead of time to ask for a pitch near to the amenity block to accommodate a disability and they were very helpful.

We pitched in A block and it was lovely and flat, not too far from the main areas of the site. I was worried about all the rain we’ve had recently but the field was absolutely fine.

Despite all the reviews about the toilets being dirty we didn’t have this issue. The toilet block looked recently refurbished and the pot wash had hot water which was nice not to have to pay for.

Welcome was fantastic. Pitches were identified with a little coloured tuft sticking out the ground and a plate with the pitch number. I was definitely overthinking it, but it wasn’t clear if the marker was the middle of the pitch or a certain corner. I was worried I was encroaching onto another pitch but I’m not sure it was actually an issue because of how much space there was.

The activity wristband times don’t match up with arrival and departure times. So by the time you are allowed the arrive the session has already started and similarly it continues beyond the time you have to have left by. Not a problem if you are staying multiple nights but you lose out a little for a one night stay.

Great spaces between pitches and large area to ride bikes go for walks .My pooch loved it too
We had 3 pitches as a family and will be returning.

Would be nice if a mop and buckle could be left outside the showers to mop over after use.

Spacious campsite with lots going on,

Toilets & showers on the dirty side,
Sadly we wet on site when they had a power cut therefore was without power, no hot showers available etc.

Lovely big pitches, great sense of space. Very safe for kids to go off and do activities which at £20 for the day is good value.

Shower blocks aren’t the best. Not particularly clean and showering and changing is difficult in such small cubicles

Good size pitches, adequate bathroom facilities, warm, organised, friendly welcome.

Toilets could do with a bit of TLC but the activities onsite out weighed this

The size of the site, the activities and the friendliness of the staff.
Able to have fires.
Easy access to the site and good security.
Reported blocked Elsan to staff and they was in attendance to this straight away.
Like how the staff leave you to it if you don't need them, as other sites we've stayed on there is always someone driving around.

Toilet rolls not replenished often or checked often to see if they need cleaning.
Floors in the toilet blocks really dirty.
No benches in the showers can make drying and dressing a bit difficult.

This was the worst campsite I have ever been to.

The toilets were always covered in mud and dirty water, as if they were never cleaned. The showers were even worse—full of mud, leaves, and grime, with a disgusting smell of urine lingering in the air.

We rented a pitch that was supposed to have electricity, but it was a joke. The power supply wasn’t even enough to run a kettle or a hair dryer! What a scam! To make things worse, there was a complete power outage across the entire campsite on the second day.

This was a terrible holiday experience!
