Helen was so welcoming so helpful , pitches where excellent size clean flat and wonderful views over the valley
Facilities are fabulous clean and the shower fabulous
Really lovely area to sit and read in sofa’s or just chat
A most wonderful visit will return .

Everything. The host Helen was fantastic couldn't be more helpful. The facilities were great and the view amazing looking over the valley. Some lovely walks into nearby villages and a bus ride into Leicester from Fleckney for just 2 pound !!! Take that on board South Wales transport lol. We will definitely come back If ever near or passing through the area. Loved it..

Nothing to dislike.

This is really a nice site , it's compact and just has the basics that you would need. Chemical waste , taps to fill your water barrels up , toilets and shower. It's a adults only site which is nice , it's very quite . There is no Wi-Fi but that wasn't a bad thing as we were out most days .
The site manager is lovely nothing bothers her . Thank you for all the help you have us as it was our first time caravaning.

There is no dislike as we always go with an open mind s on campsites then you make it what you want .

Facilities were clean and stocked with toiletries.
There is a wonderful area with fridge freezer, tea & coffee, dining table and sofas. Fabulous to use if the weather isn’t favourable.
A lovely small site with attention to detail. Ideal for a peaceful get away. Would recommend 😊

We absolutely love this camp site, it was our second visit. Helen is so hospitable and friendly, she knows the area extremely well & is always on hand to help with anything you need. The barn is so convenient if it’s raining as a cosy area, we ordered an Indian takeaway to be delivered which was delicious too. The showers and toilets are always clean & the view is spectacular. Highly recommend.

Very nice well kept site. Shower was one of the best I've has on a camping holiday. Nice indoor lounge with sofas etc & indoor kitchen area for washing up. Not modern but everything worked & the whole place had a lovely feel. Fantastic views from our elevated hilltop position.

Not a big issue but we picked it for being adults only. Got 3 kids of my own but sometimes you just need that break which is why we stayed there but yet there were kids there? From I think a rental house on the site but on the site? They were accompanied & not a pain so no issues & on leaving today there was a camper van setting up with a toddler? I need to be clear not an issue to me personally, more confused, but people book adults only for a reason so either be adults only or don't?

Site is immaculate and facilities are also spotless. Panoramic views across the valley were lovely too.

Lovely quiet site with little extras like fridge and freezer, a lounge with tea coffee and kettle, books and games and comfy sofas and chairs. Very clean toilets and showers.

We had an amazing two nights at Valley View Escapes. The site, in rural, picturesque and historic middle England, was even better than we anticipated and Helen is an excellent host and lovely person :)

The site is suitable for wheelchair users, with a disabled toilet in the communal barn. There isn’t a designated wet room, but there are non-disabled shower facilities at ground floor level that are useable if out of chair, particularly in the additional bathroom round the site of the barn.

Accessing the barn is fine as the grass from where you pitch up, to the barn, is predominantly flat. There is a slight hump on the grass to the path near the barn entrance, but it is doable on own and also with a push. The drinking water tap is also at a good level for wheelchair users.

Our dog also adored the site, the view kept him entertained so much so that even laying around tired him out :) I’m sure he wishes he was still there as he’s a bit grumpy now we’re back.

All in all, we were pleasantly surprised at how accessible the site was and we will definitely book another stay if we are in the area again. Thank you, Helen :)
