Relaxed Atmosphere, Good Facilities, Free Showers

Lovely camp site with very good showers (a must when walking and living in a tent!).

Great location – very pretty and close to Snowdonia.
Daren in the office gave me guidance on a good walk to Caernarfon so visited the castle and got a bus back.

There’s a great walk from Waunfawr (pronounced: wine-vow'r) to Nantlle and on to Rhyd Ddu (pronounced: rheed-thee) where you can get a bus back to Waunfawr. It’s part of the Slate Trail and not too demanding but with very good views including Caernarfon and the coast.

Wish it was closer to Kent!

Some had mentioned the WiFi blocked YouTube? (but who needs that with Snowdonia on your doorstep?). I still managed to get news and weather updates via a web browser

Loved this campsite.
super clean facilities, lovley 5 min walk to the top of the hill to watch a sunset.
Lovely staff.
Loads to offer for children as there is a great park area and also farm animals on site.

Nothing to dislike

Very peaceful site, great spot on the site. Lovely views and a nice walk from the site to the top of a hill with even better views. Liked having the donkeys and sheep, nice shop and they sell donkey food for £1. Didn't have the kids this time but will come back with them as the play area looked good and they will like seeing the animals while they play

Just that the showers could be a bit more modern and there was a problem with them when we went as they were cold. The lane into the site for a few hundred meters is narrow so had to be careful with the caravan but just take your time and it's ok

Quiet, plenty of facilities, friendly staff.

Wifi wouldn't allow YouTube or videos on my Google tv account to be played had to download videos while at restaurants on their wifi.

Campsite is in a brilliant location, lovely views, nice local pub, a few walks available from the campsite. Lovely animals, handy shop, good firepits. Facilities kept clean, nice warm showers and good washing up area

Stayed in one of the pods and had a bit of trouble getting the door closed but this was a known issue related to the wood expanding and settling strangely so nothing could be done. Everything else about the pod was spot on and exactly as needed

The location was beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, facilities were really nice and well kept.

The added bonus of the site dog and animals on site was also really lovely!

Great facilities, lovely views and a nice playground for the kids. The staff were very friendly, helpful and I like the campsite shop, definitely recommend trying the lamb burgers!

The positioning of the site had fabulous views, it was clean and tidy, and surprisingly quite.
Loved seeing the donkeys.
There was a small shop that did stock a few little bits, which was handy.

The price of the tumble dryer, would have been nice to have a chart or something that showed how much time you got for every £2 you spent, handy to have if you need to dry anything but £2 for 10 mins was a lot.
