Clean and well lit facilities, good and free shower, good recycling and waste. Seemed like a well organised and well ran place. Can't argue with the price either. Quiet rules were obeyed. Easy to get too, nice views, lots of walking around the area. Firepit and wood for cheap from the owners. Seemed popular with families, nice to see kids playing in the long grass in the middle. Loved engraved mirrors.

Will stay again, no question.

Warning! If you go walking along the Severn on the camp site side of the road bridge, the two crossings shown close to each other on ordnance survey maps do not exist (satellite maps confirm this)!

Facilities are cramped and limited, though being a warm bank holiday didn't help.The use of rough wood in some places is a little concerning, and a little odd given the lovely finishing elsewhere. The showers need curtains to keep clothes dry, even when hung up on the back of the door. Even with a torch it's hard to see where the edges of the mowed road are in the top field when walking to/from the toilets at night. Some markings would be nice. Easy to get to from a good road, but this also means road noise, some big vehicles early in the morning. Wouldn't want to be in a tent in the bottom fields.

A lovely, clean and quiet campsite ..... facilities and grounds were spotless....The owners clearly work very hard to maintain and make sure that their guests have a lovely stay

The site was lovely with beautiful scenery, it was busy but there was plenty of space between pitches so it didn’t feel cramped. We went with friends and they accommodated us being next to each other. The showers, toilets as washing up area were lovely and clean, the owners were so friendly and came around the site multiple times a day to check everyone was ok.

The site was well set up, with everything you need for a lovely stay.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, checking in with everyone in the evening to see how our stay was going.

The local Spar at the petrol station was really well stocked and the staff really friendly. It's an easy walk to the pub.

Space of the pitches, friendly & helpful & accommodating owners, beautiful views, lots of open space for children to play, small/medium site, clean toilet & shower facilities, supplied bricks for bbqs & fire pits, apple & plum tree, animals, freezer for freezer blocks, general atmosphere around the site was lovely between campers, great washing up facilities. Fantastic location for visiting many site seeing & walking opportunities - canoeing/kayaking on Lake Vyrnwy & swimming in Rhiwagor waterfall were particular highlights.

1 or 2 more showers would be great, but not a major problem, we never had to wait more than a few minutes for one to become free.

Warm friendly welcome from the owners, big pitches, clean facilities.
