The showers and toilets were were very pleasant. There was also use if communal fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle. You can also hire chimneas and wood which was a lovely surprise.
The children really enjoyed seeing the chickens round the campsite (the fresh eggs are available to buy!) and being able to stroke the pigs!
We'd definitely go back again!

The road noise. However we knew about this before hand from reading other reviews, and it didn't detract from our stay.
There are also ear plugs provided free of charge for those that want them.

Nicely spaced pitches, relaxed atmosphere, great facilities. Our 18 month old loved the chickens and pigs! Plenty of space for him to run about. Toilets and showers were nice and clean. The open barn is very useful.

Only tiny gripe was queuing for the wash up sink, maybe an additional sink might be a bonus, but we were unlucky to be behind a child washing up for a large families worth of pots.

The site was lovely and so family friendly. We will definitely be going back.

A little road noise

Everything was exactly as described and Jonathan had allocated us an area which included a cabin , campervan hookup and room for a couple of tents as there were 8 of us in all . The children loved the big grassy area for playing ball games and soon made friends with another group of youngsters camped nearby. We made full use of the campsite showers and the freezer in the communal barn was very useful for recharging our iceblocks . We bought lots of the farm eggs and had them fried every morning ! We made full use of the local transport links and went to Ilkley on the bus one day and Skipton by train yesterday to visit the castle. We also enjoyed the local walks which could be accessed directly from the campsite. Definitely recommend.

The traffic noise is quite difficult to ignore but they do provide earplugs foc if you're a light sleeper. No-one in our group felt it spoilt their stay.

We liked everything about the campsite. Everything was all in one place. The facilities were great also. You can buy disposable bbqs and fire pits with wood. The children loved the pigs and there was plenty of space for them to run around. The couple who own it are very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely little campsite, we stayed for a night with 2 children under 6. Toilets and showers nice and clean, few games for kids to play with. Pitches nice and spaced out with plenty of room. Honesty box for fresh eggs, firewood, fire pits and bbqs. Fridge, kettle and microwave if you need them.

Only thing that we didn’t like was the noise from the road nearby, so I’d recommend ear plugs for sleeping if you’re a light sleeper.

The site is lovely. Close to a train station (you do have to cross a bypass) and Aldi. Steeton and Silsden are both within walking distance and there’s plenty of walks around. Fabulous showers in the barn and everything you need on site for a comfortable stay. Fresh eggs for sale and fire pits for hire. I camped down by the river which was a lovely stretch! The owners are super helpful and friendly.

Planes, trains and automobiles. It can’t be helped. I took some noise cancelling earbuds for the night time and free earplugs are available!
