Great place to stay as there are some beautiful walks nearby. The Canal side farm shop is a 5 minute walk away, an ideal stop for a great breakfast.Не понравилось: The shower and toilets were a bit old and dirty. Literally the only negative we had.
Booked through Pitch Up but the site hadn't received our booking. Luckily they could accommodate us anyway and knocked money off. Wouldn't book through Pitch Up again.
Site is in a good location, but facilities really not good.

Не понравилось: Where do I start?! The site isn't fit for purpose and we got the impression that the people running it couldn't care less. The site's been extended but the electrics haven't been upgraded so they can't cope. There weren't many people on the site on our first night but the power on our whole field tripped twice. The following 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend it was going off constantly and an electrician staying on the site improved things but the following night we had no power all night. If the owners could have been bothered to acknowledge this and come round to apologise it wouldn't have been so bad but we never set eyes on them. Toilet and shower facilities were below standard and not kept clean or stocked with toilet paper either.
Staff were very friendly.However,we did not get what we paid for.

Не понравилось: The basic amenities.We booked a fully serviced pitch-to include water hook up,drainage and electric.The power supply was constantly tripping out.It got so bad that we were eventually forced to put our fridge onto the gas setting,and the lighting onto battery supply.This went on until,eventually,after 3 nights of disruption,the whole site went dark,prompting a visit from the National grid.
Not once,did anyone in charge offer either an explanation,or apology for what had happened.Added to this,the tap that we were hooked up to was spurting everywhere during our stay,and totally flooded the picnic area of the caravan next to us.In the end we were forced to turn the tap off,and resort to filling Aqua rolls the old fashioned way.We booked fully serviced because my husband and I are not physically able to manhandle the weight due to mobility issues.

Не понравилось: 3 ladies toilets and 2 ladies showers for entire site. Site had approximately 40 units . 2 Toilets broken. Never saw them cleaned or restocked all weekend. Plus power cuts every evening. Overnight lost power until 9am ish. Lucky it was cold enough for food not to perish. No apologies from owner's. Avoid unless you have your own facilities and don't need electric hook up. Very disappointed.

Thank you for your review.
As it states on the site instructions that are handed out on arrival, toilets and showers are cleaned & restocked at least 2 times a day and if there are any issues in between to contact reception.
Who did you speak to about the toilets? As we don’t have any record of anyone contacting us with a problem.
Due to our location and planning permission we are not allowed to have any more toilets or showers onsite which is why we only have what we have got.
The ones we have are mainly for the campers that do not have any facilities of their own.
Again with the electric the ones that alerted us about any troubles we sorted out immediately and apologised for the inconvenience.
We do apologise for the trouble with the electric there did seem to be a couple of issues over the weekend which we wasn’t sure why it was happening and as soon as we had the power cut during the night and we was informed at 7am Sunday morning we contacted national grid and they came out at 7.57am to sort it out.
The issue was completely out of our hands as it was a problem with the main breaker linked to the transformer which is owned by national grid and was an offsite issue. Only national grid can fix this problem which is why they were emergency called out.
They arrived at 7.57am to change the main breaker and all electrical issues were solved by 9.51am Sunday and there has been no problems since then.
