Dog waste bin not emptied during our stay and overflowing.
1 rope swing but could maybe do with a small park area fir children.
Wifi available only in pub or near facilities but not near pitch sites.

This is a nice little campsite on the back of a great pub. Good layout, clean facilities and friendly helpful staff!

I would have gave this 5 stars if it wasn't for a loud group camping close by that kept us up till 12:30am, even though this is a family friendly site with quiet time from 10pm. That said, a member of staff promptly replied to my message and spoke to them.

The campsite was quiet and clean. I had booked into the pub for a meal which was great.
The facilities are basic but clean and functional. This is a great place to stay if you're bike packing on the peak trails

Lovely size pitches and well marked out, toilet and shower blocked clean and tidy.
Pub food was real nice and reasonable prices. We arrived after check in and there was a lost on the door with names and pitch numbers which was handy. Pitches aren’t completely level so needed my levelling blocks but nothing drastic. Nice to be aloud an off the ground fire pit

Superb site, well looked after and managed onsite facilities with flat pitches.
The Royal Oak pub served excellent food with indoor and outdoor service.
Dogs welcome.

We was a bit worried going as it was the first time that we took our 1 year old cocka camping and we had never been here before. We had no reason to worry, it is a fantastic site, with plenty of room between the other tents. The staff came to check that everything was ok on each day. They were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. We will definitely go back.

We wished that we had found this site sooner

The facilities were extremely clean and the staff were very welcoming and polite! A lovely stay, will definitely be returning!
