My grandchild loved the animals and it was great you could feed them. The park was lovely poistioned by the cafe so you could sit & watch. The site in general is well kept with lovely lakes. The cafe is well socked with delicious cakes etc.

We found the toilet/shower block had an awful smell inside. (Like sewage) The cafe closed at 5pm it was a shame they stopped cooking hot food at 2pm. Missing a huge opportunity there and could potentially get 5 stars if they cooked hot food to later on in the day.

We found the check in easy, very informative, told locations of every facility on site with a map and contact information,Names plus numbers incase of any problems.

We felt so welcome nothing was to much trouble, lovely place will definitely be stopping again thank you to all the staff 😊

Having animals on site is really nice for the children to wake upto and go for a walk to see at there lesiure.

On a clear night the view of the night sky was amazing so peaceful without light pollution very relaxing.

Loved the fact wifi in cafe to check up on emails etc, but we appreciate being able to feel a little disconnected allowed the older children to be away from devices for quality time together.

The site itself was good. The cafe was excellent.

The fishing rules were in my opinion crazy. I appreciate you are very nervous of transmission of disease from other venues. But if you insist on only using the venues landing nets please make them large enough and we’ll maintained properly. One carp in particular I caught hardly fitted in the net and when eventually it was nearly on the bank, proceeded to fall straight through the bottom of the net. Before falling about 4 feet down the bank and crashing into the mud below. Such a shame that in my opinion fish are being damaged by the net rule and the no unhooking mats rule. I have no problems dipping nets etc before fishing

Great friendly site , great facilities. Bonus there was a cafe on site serving fresh pizzas and bar. Loved the animals on site too.

Nice clean site

The toilets 🤮 well there really are no words for the stench inside them. No ventilation even though you shower and toilet in the same block it's disgusting.

The wardens are the most miserable sour faced wardens I've ever come across, constantly baggering you.
One out of our party of 14 went for a shower at 8am and was rudely stopped on the way out of the block, to be told " to early to be having showers mate" never heard anything like it in my life.
Then children woke around 8am and as always straight outside, over again the warden comes, it's to early to be outside and talking others are trying to sleep.

The fishing pools! Well! Match fishing all weekend. People staying there can not fish till after 5 and must be off by 8. How ridiculous, also have to pay to fish separately at £9 a day!!!
Can't feed on the top, and can't fish with breed, "because it's not good for the fish"
Never heard so much rubbish in my life!

The cafe - 4 sandwiches for breakfast -£28! When got back to the caravan, BURNT AND THE WRONG ORDER!
Safe to say we won't be returning.

Really nice, country park and cafe on site. Really nice friendly wardens. Lovely walks around and the lakes are beautiful. If we stay again would prefer lake view or would be off grid away from the hustle and bustle of family groups.

The family we were next too. Very inconsiderate of others around them - I am sure if we had complained the wardens would have took action.

Great facilities, lovely setting, ample space at the pitch. Wardens (Amy and David I think) were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for families, I was a single traveller travelling for work booked a camping pitch as it was good weather and cheaper than a hotel. Will definitely be visiting again soon but with the family next time.

Although I was considerably far away from the top fishing lake, the aerator that puts oxygen in the lake was loud. Luckily I'm a heavy sleeper but it could be a problem for others.

The toilet block was clean and regularly cleaned to keep it that way! There were additional events on for the bank holiday including bouncy castles and pony rides which was great. The 10pm quiet time is enforced which we appreciated - the managers were very polite about it but it's good to know that there won't be loud music and shouting until the early hours. The pitches are all around the edge of the field leaving the middle open for games. The on site cafe is really good. They do a variety of cakes, hot drinks and meals.
