The views were stunning, the pitches were always kept tidy and clean. They were spaced enough from others. The play area for children, the children loved. The facilities were designed well and monitored throughout the day, tidy and clean. The staff were so friendly and checked in every morning with us. The quiet time between 10pm and 8am was always adhered too. It was a perfect site for families. If the dogs were well behaved and it wasn’t at peak time the owner had no problems letting the dogs off leads for most of the day. We honestly had the best time, I think they’ve just done enough in terms of keeping it rural while still providing some home comforts, showers and toilets. There were 2 toilet/showers on site, 3 showers on site, one individual showers toilet, and just through the play area and to the front of the car park are two separate toilet/showers. We loved it! The full layout, clean and tidy. Chris came and welcomed us as we were setting up, the kids loved the park area. The restaurant was lovely we tried the pizzas which were delicious. Toilets, showers & washing up facilities all clean and tidy. Well sign posted. In a good area to get to Buxton, Bakewell and other surrounding areas. We visiting Thors cave and Dove dale National park. We enjoyed watching the planes fly overhead, there is a donkey sanctuary on the field next door so some noise is heard but our kids loved it. WiFi code at check in although it was hit and miss signal wise but better than my own O2 coverage.

Noise at times from other guests. More consideration needed by a few at times. Particularly dogs barking. Showers and toilets are checked regularly but certainly not cleaned enough. They were ok but need cleaning much more frequently.

Peaceful small campsite. Great facilities. EXTREMELY clean showers and toilets. Close to a pub that served lovely food. Staff were so welcoming.
