Although the toilet and shower blocks were clean and well maintained there is a significant lack of room in them, nowhere near enough space in the shower to change after washing

The road to the campsite is a single-track farm road with no passing places. it's only around 0.2 miles up this part but god forbid you to come up against anyone and we witnessed horses up 2 times in our 2 days there.

Lack of bins. one set at the farmhouse but nothing to direct you to them. we were left wondering what to do with a bin bag until we saw someone take their bag over to the bins. Either updating the rules for the locations of bins or a few signs would help.

Our satnav tried to take us down the private single-track road. A few signs out on the main roads may help people who have not done their research to find the way through the village.

On arrival we were greeted by the most lovely smiling young man who was so kind and helpful . What a lovely quiet site , lovely clean toilets and a lovely view . Shame we were only there for one night as we were on our journey visiting family . Would definitely return again . Chickens and peacocks were a bonus ! Lovely

Nothing to dislike

We loved the easy access to electric hook-ups, water, toilets & also the flat cut grass. The field was kept clean and we loved seeing the chickens, peacocks & geese. we loved it so much we stayed an extra night!

Lovely well kept field. Chickens were very friendly. We didn’t meet any of the owners so can’t really comment on them.

No fault of the site owners but we had a caravan next to us with quite a few people in it who were playing loud music from mid afternoon until late at night. Also the toilets when we went were not very clean, again I don’t think this was the site owners fault but rather just bad timing when we went as clearly there were people there who had no idea how to use a toilet or shower (dread to think what their houses must be like 🤢). I would go again but not in the school holidays, obviously being a family site there were lots of children & that’s fine but as it’s normally just me & the hubby that go away I would choose quieter times.

First visit to Ted’s but won’t be the last. It’s a lovely site, beautiful views and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of room to spread out, clean shower and toilet block and loved the chickens visiting us every day. Thanks to all

Remote position, clean and well kept site, toilets brand new and spotless, friendly reception on arrival. No WiFi but had a good 4g signal. Electrics and water all good.

Always a queue to wash up in the one sink, toilets busy and needed another block tbh. No camp fires allowed. No info at first arrival you just have to wait until someone appears.

Site location and services were great! Plenty of space. Super friendly staff and cute chickens.
