Clean, spacious, well placed for walking straight from the site.

First time at Sykeside with two children (4 & 9), great camping location and clean facilities. We walked locally and visited Windermere and Morecombe over the course of 3 days, probably should have stayed longer.

Morning view were amazing, plenty of space for the kids to run around and Typhoon fly past every now and again (at a reasonable time of day), amazing!

Brotherswater is a quick walk down the road, as are any number of beautiful views.

Staff are helpful and the night patrols around site make sure everyone has a good time.

Great policy on no groups, camp was quiet when it was supposed to be and had a great atmosphere in the evening.

Tip: When they say book dinner ahead of time locally, make sure you do! Loads of great places if you can get in......and watch out for the sheep on the road.

Wifi booster across the camp site, probably not the point of camping but would really liked to have shown friends what were doing across the camp.

Scenery and location were great.

Very strict, had 3 logs burning on a fire and was told it would burn down the tent next to us. Also very windy, the valley seems to be a bit of a natural wind tunnel as other areas we travelled to were fine but the campsite was always +20mph winds, had to leave a day early due to tent collapsing and campsite being waterlogged in places.

Nice site, good facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly.
