Really good place with great activities and great people. Lots of things to keep everyone busy from the farm animals to the den building in the woods.

Only one thing that wasn't perfect was the fishing lake, needs a little TLC to bring it back to life as it looks like it could be great when back to full life.

Good facilities. Lovely toasty showers with great flow and pressure. There were two shower/toilets cubicles and 2 just toilet cubicles. Only had to wait my turn a couple of times but not for long. They were reasonably clean but definitely take a bag to put your stuff in as the showers are more wet room style, the floor gets wet. Also flip flops or crocs a good idea as the sandy substrate means gritty floors (cant be helped) squeegie in cubicles to clear floor though.there was a big double sink for washing up and a freezer for ice packs (definitely essential) the microwave and washing machine were a nice extra touch although we didn't use the washing machine. There was a lovely undercover bar, cafe and shop. You could get essentials aswell as extra wood from fire. Also a tv playing sport and some.live music one night. We didnt socialise but it always seemed popular in the evenings for those wanting something like that.The children loved all the animals, the woods for exploring and the play area and football pitch. I didn't see them for long if we were on site as they went off exploring, playing and making friends. I felt confident of their safety to explore freely. If you like fishing there is a little pond. All in all we had a good week. The location is a bit in the sticks surrounded by country roads but they were pleasant to drive along. Most of the places we visited were around 40 mins or more. Gainsborough was the closest to visit and we enjoyed a day out there. Lincoln also a great day out. Doncaster is a similar distance with Yorkshire Wildlofe Park a good place to visit or The Dome on rainy days for a water park and ice skating. If you want a beach, highly recommend Cleethorpes again a bit of a drive but worth it.

Ground was uneven in some areas making the tent not flush on the ground in some parts, thankfully we had good weather so didn't get a puddle underneath. Some children were digging holes in the sand in the middle of the tent field, well sand is tempting to be fair but it did make it difficult to drive over and uneven underfoot so a good torch definitely needed. Not much you can do about the substrate but maybe a kind reminder not to play in the sand when checking in might helo. Also some toilets at the end of the tent field would be an advantage, it's a bit of a trek for small kids or those slower moving especially at night, just a couple of portaloos or even better some compost toilets perhaps.

Just returned from our 2nd camping trip at Sunflower Park this summer and my children yet again did not want to leave.!! Owners are very welcoming and present on site, great having a bar for the adults to enjoy there trip too.! The play park and football pitch are great for keeping children entertained. Very dog friendly. Animals are lovely and well cared for. Staff tending to the animals were kind to my children, answering all their questions and letting them help with little jobs such as feeding the pigs. There's a really safe and relaxing feel at this site, which meant children could run freely, play, explore ,get dirty, and be proper children, which is wonderful to see in the modern day we live in. Love this place, booked for next year before we left. 👍🌻🌻

Absolutely nothing..!

Loved this site. Good sized pitch for tent, toilet/shower always nice and clean. Loved the small shop/cafe/bar and friendly staff! The highlight was having all the animals, my daughters didn’t want to come home and we will definitely be returning. We had an amazing weekend.

Had our daughter and grand kids visit while we were at Sunflowers. Absolutely great, loved the animals and play area. Made friends immediately. Owners Chis and Ian super people and hosts. It’s a farm so not pristine but great fun. Hosts very laid back and may not be visible on arrival but find them out and they will look after you. Live music Saturdays.

Lovely site for children. They loved all the animals, as well as the little park. We took a walk through the woodland path, which they also loved.
Owners are very visible and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Although we didn't spend time in the bar, it wasn't overly noisy even with a guest act on.
The little shop is a nice addition, and onsite breakfast options a nice touch for those who want/need them.
We didn't feel too closed in even though the site was busy. It was good ground to pitch in too.

I realise it's hard to know the calibre of people staying, but there were some that were awful. One of the guys camped next to us seemed to think it was ok to just publicly urinate, rather than use the toilets, and we saw people (adults as well as kids) just dropping litter as they felt like it. A number of kids were unsupervised on the park, and were not behaving well, at times somewhat intimidating to the younger children.
And the toilets/showers - I appreciate it was a busy weekend but at every visit they were dirty and messy. Again, I think this says more about the people staying there rather than management of the site but they were in a bad way. I suspect some on the site just had very little respect for others and no concept of cleaning up after themselves.

Lovely rural site with plenty to do for the kids (animals on site (working animal rescue centre), fishing lake, open spaces etc). Owners were more than accommodating and would do anything they could to help. Shop, bar and food available on site which is a bonus.

We love this place, the kids are constantly entertained from building dens, to seeing the animals, playing at the park or walking in the woods.
The people are fab and really easy going, the cafe is a godsend and I love the honesty shop.

What a brilliant campsite this is! We stayed non-ehu and arrived shortly before 1pm and could pitch where we wanted in the 'Wild Camping' area. We chose a spot next to the fishing lake and was also shaded by trees which was ideal so the tent didn't get too hot in the sun. We chose this site as we have 2 children aged 10 and 6 and loved the fact it had animals, it didn't disappoint! There was a huge park complete with 2 trampolines, a den building area in the forest, woodland walk where you can meet pigs, goats and cows. A seperate smaller animal area containing chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets. Another large area for donkeys, sheep and goats. All the animals are rescues and from speaking with the staff they really do care and have provided them all with a forever home. Animal feed can be bought for 50p a cup. There is a cafe and bar on site which is great value for money, cafe is open from 9am to 3pm. There is also a shop which has everything you could need, especially any essentials that are forgotten like cutlery! The shop has an honesty box, or can be paid for at the cafe/bar. There are 2 toilets and 2 toilet/showers which were as clean as can be expected on a busy site. There is an outdoor and indoor washing up area, freezer and charging facilities. There is a picnic area too next to the lake. The fishing lake was popular, the fish weren't particularly active but still managed to catch almost 10 during our 2 days. This is a working animal farm, therefore expect to see farm vehicles during the day and hearing the animals during the night and early hours, not that it bothered us! I personally enjoyed the fact that we were around nature and seeing the herd of geese sleeping and wandering around as they pleased. All the staff are friendly and work extremely hard. Overall this site is extremely good value for money, having everything you need and the kids were kept entertained. Thank you for everything that you do for the animals and for providing such a family friendly experience, we will be booking again!
