Very clean and tidy place, toilets and showers was immaculate, kids enjoyed watching people catch fish and watching the fish and ducks in the water would go back again

Showers and toilets clean, our pitch was in a great location…we thought the best on the site ! Nice friendly site. Enjoyed watching the fishing and the site was well looked after.

Noise of aircraft and motorbikes….but got used to it…motorbikes racing on road were probably more irritating!

Advertises park but it looks like it’s about to fall apart and they have used it as a dumping area on top of the climbing bit and they have their own dog just roaming around off the lead going up to peoples tent and I saw it piss up the tent next to us yes it was a friendly dog but we brought our dogs and it was just trying to hump her the whole time we told them and they struggled to get her away as wouldn’t listen to her and then just let it still roam around which then ended up coming back annoying our pup. Deffinatly shouldn’t advertise for families mainly just people who like to fish in piece is all this site is good for.

Lovely friendly guy who owns the site and greeted us. Put us on a nice pitch that was quiet under the trees. Very chatty which was great and gave recommendations.

Really clean toilets and shower. Well maintained areas.

Would definitely stay again.

The campsite was small and the area secluded. Nice surroundings. Facilities were clean enough. Friendly lady at reception.

The lack of facilities, only two toilets and one shower which were in constant use. Could not see from the outside whether someone was in there so lots of failed attempts at getting in. No wifi and there was a flight path right over the site so constant noise. Fair to say it did not disturb us though, we slept well.

Lakes are beautiful.
Owner was a really nice man.

1)Went here as on pitchup it's says adult only. It's NOT kids everywhere shouting and screaming which is fine,they are kids. But not when you think you have booked adult only site.
2) pitch was in a slope
3) No markings between pitches, woke up with a toy car infront of my door. Had to step over it to get out.
4) East midlands main take off landing flightpath, so constant deafening noise from airplane. (Well from 5.45am - 11.30pm.
5) Next to busy road so road noise ( mostly drowned out by airplane noise)
6) lots of dogs on site not on leads. We took our dog (£2 extra charge) and another dog came up to the door loose and barked at her.

Immaculate facilities, friendly staff. Lovely landscaped fishing area. Close proximity to the town & nearby National Trust attractions

The road noise was constant and very loud on the pitches down by the fishing lake. It was constant & horrendous. The noise from the planes was also awful as the site is directly under the EMA flightpath. If you're a light sleeper, this is not the site for you. Such a shame for us as we loved everything else about this beautiful site.

Small site with a focus on fishing. Pitches were spacious and the grass well maintained. The fishing was pleasant, well stocked and maintained. The site was basic but quiet, tidy and well maintained.

The site is on a flight path for nearby East Midlands airport, with planes flying low during the night as well as daytime. There was also possibly a music festival nearby as loud music for a couple of nights until about 11.30. Would have liked for hot water to be available in the toilet facilities, and more than 1 shower in the camping field. The washing up point was outdoors, and not cleaned very well.

Idyllic site, very picturesque. Very quiet site. Would return and stay again as handy for Donnington.

Facilities were basic and served a purpose. Could do with a few more toilets or another shower.
