Loads to do and a lovely big area for walks and parks for all ages.

Toilets not up to 100% cleanliness

Nothing really to like.

Hard standing pitches were water logged . Looked like no money had been spent on the touring site. No lighting yet lighting on static caravan site. Showers ran cold water , complained about this said it was fixed but no. Toilets very shabby no door locks .

Food in the restaurant was good for the money, we got the Sunday deal of two drinks two starters and two mains for £35
Close to Skirlington market, Brid and Hornsea
Hot water is available, just have to wait a while

On-site pub not dog friendly and very limited information with regards to the on-site pub available online prior to arrival to find out.
Flies everywhere which is fine considerering there is a small pond on-site, however there are no measures in place to control it within washing and toilet blocks or even the bar.
Shouldn’t have to shower with small flies all over the walls and ceilings.
No access to the beach that we could find which considering your on the coast would be nice

The toilet and shower blocks need a deep clean .
The cleaner wears a peaked cap so it stops him seeing and think above head hight . The lights and the ceilings above the showers were full of dead fly's and spider these were there throughout our stay .

Going to the Club up the Road from the Site which was 4 pound cheaper for the same 2 drinks that The site was selling.

Where do i start. We arrived and were told they had give our Pitch to someone else and would have to go in another, The mens toilet Block was out of order the 48 hours we were there meaning a lot of Men having to use the single Room disabled toilets, this place should have 24-7 Maintenance no excuse. The man cleaning the toilets Has porn on his Phone this i know when he tried Showing me the damage in the mens Toilets ( a loose wire) Note to your cleaner, clear phone before showing paying guests. Also the toilets are a Disgrace no wonder the same man wants em out of order it saves him doing a bad job of cleaning them. Most The lights around the site dont work. Very few Dog waste Bins, in fact the most Dog unfriendly site we have visited. Just a Corporate Dump after as much money as possible.

Lots of facilities and activities.

Could do with facilities updating but still enjoyed the stay.

So reading the previous reviews left me feeling a but uncertain about our fri-sun stay, but we needn't had worried!
I'm going to start with the positive bits, the staff are lovely, friendly and so helpful! They do go above and beyond.
The toilet blocks, we got caught short going from the shop to our van so we used the toilet blocks, they were OK! They aren't super modern but what we did see of them, they were pretty clean.
We have a 9,13 and a 15 year old travelling with us and the entertainment in the evening ticked all our boxes. We all laughed and enjoyed it thoroughly!
The swimming was all booked up online but they did tell us to go back 15 mins before the start of the session as they were accepting walk ins... we got out swimming pool session on time as promised and without any problems. The showers do literally spray qleater for like 10 secs, but again, didn't bother us as we just constantly held the button in. The steam room and sauna room was great and clean too - very relaxing.
The site is much bigger than we realised and we couldn't find direct access to the beach due to coastal erosion- but the helpful staff at the reception told us about Mr Moos beach (4 mins drive by car and then a 20 mins wooded walk) which she would highly recommend. This didn't leave us nor our two doggos disappointed! The milkshakes on the way back just topped the day off nicely!

So the bad points. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for an evening meal. We had breakfast there in the morning (for five of us it cost around £30ish) and enjoyed the meal and thought it was worth the price we paid.
When we went back in the evening, it cost us £81 (just for 3 drinks, a bottle of wine and 5 meals. One was a child menu meal) the meal came out incredibly quick and in our honest opinion, wasn't worth the £80+ quid. Our 9 year old refused to eat his meal so we had to cook when we got back to our van.
We ordered a bottle of wine but had to return it as it had already been opened - not a problem at all but worth checking if you order a bottle 😊
We ordered a curry and wasn't told that they had ran out of naan bread until we enquired about it after the meal was bought it.
Maybe I'm just nit picking but I wanted to give as an honest opinion as I could.
Oh and the WiFi is very hit and miss so you might want to get some ear plugs for when the kids moan 🤣🤣

Quiet site.

Showers were filthy.
Swimming pool closed as it wasn't busy enough.

Clean site. Electric and water. Entertainment if that's your Forte? Lots to do near the beach. Lovely to hear the sea
Hardly to No internet phone signal .. perfect peace

No HOT Water in showers or pot wash! Luke to cold at best! Disabled shower had hot water! Lack of bins! Seats or places to put dry/clean clothes whilst showering!
RATS are all over the site us and 3 other tents lost all of our bread as they chewed through to steal the food. So tame they would just meander across the road in front of you!
