The park was great for the kids, facilities clean as usual and never too far. Nice atmosphere around the park and reception staff really friendly.

Problems with swimming pool during our visit, didn't get to use it at all and found the staff on the pool desk not very helpful.

Facilities- pool, sauna, laundromat, shop.

Confusion getting our allocated pitch, a lack of management for the touring/tent site apparent. Lots of rubbish off site left for the duration of our 6 day stay. No access to the beach which is 100 yards away due to coastal erosion and no action taken to allow access so far required. No wifi on touring site despite advertised.

The park, facilities, etc. the reception staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. Swimming was already full when we booked but they release extra spots daily which is a great idea!

We were only able to book activities on the app for the day we arrived, the second day just didn't show up as an option.

The showbar does not have enough space for all the families when the park is full. There were at least 6 other families (as well as us) that simply could not get seats. We had to miss out and go back to our accommodation. This is the reason for our poor value for money rating.

Staff were nice and kids enjoyed the park

Cold showers, one of the toilet blocks only had one light the other only had one toilet that had both a lockable door and a working toilet seat. No dog friendly indoor areas or covered heating areas. Litter everywhere. Bag of dirty nappies next to our pitch for our whole stay and dog mess that had not been picked up. Dog walking area was cover in dog mess. Need more effort put into all weather pitch's.

The variety of activities

Some guests weren't very respectful of realising there's other people.
Most lights didn't work in shower/toilet block so had to shower and use the toilet with very limited lighting sometimes not been able to see.

Our camping plot was a great place. My children loved that they could go over to the park and kept them occupied for ages. Price was brilliant.

No faults at all, thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Reception staff helpful. Location to access some coastal areas. Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington, Hornsea, Flamborough and Bempton Cliffs all in driving distance.

Stayed here years ago and enjoyed it. It is now under new ownership and maintenance is required, The site is tired. Showers were always cold. Food in bar was poor quality and expensive. Mass produced ready meals are not to my taste. I found the meals in the bar to be tasteless and very high in calories, over 1000kcal for adult portion of spagetti bolangase or chicken curry.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Park very well tended. Shame no direct access to the beach but can't blame the park for the bad weather. All in all a pleasant stay

We paid £19 for a 1 night stay which I felt was a bargain for what you get - grass electric pitch, reasonable touring facilities, a short walk to a beach (if you clamber down the banking), plenty on site to keep children entertained, swimming pool, choice of food / drink venues, and location is excellent - near plenty of seaside towns. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly.

Wash-up area in the touring facilities needs some care - U-bend was loose and water was leaking onto the floor. When we stayed there was a group of lads nearby with junk / beer cans / rubbish lying around, they then left their pitch in a complete mess (abandoned BBQs etc), obviously not Park Dean's fault although perhaps some occasional checks of the touring area would help.
