The hosts are incredibly friendly and the campsite is excellently presented. The toilets and showers are great and the ability to get fresh coffee and snacks first thing in the morning is a bonus, especially if it’s pack up day.

The hosts were always on hand to answer our questions and gave us great advice on places to visit while we were in the area.

Nothing, just be aware the owners have two friendly labradors so don’t be surprised if they come and say hi.

Perfect stay with our two young children. Very family friendly and very secure with the security gate on entrance. Toliet and shower facilities were immaculate.
Scarbucks was a lovely way to start the morning with coffee, bacon butties and much more. We can't recommend this campsite enough and can't wait to come back with the family

The camping field was perfect for children - a huge expanse of lush short grass, with woods and rocks close by, endless space for them to roam in safely. Great views over Morecambe Bay from the field. The bell tents were perfect - we were camping for one night with three other families, so having the four bell tents all together was great and avoided us having to pitch tents for one night. The (Scarbucks) breakfast van was a welcome surprise - great to be able to get a fresh bacon sandwich and hot drink, and all very reasonably priced. The shower/toilet block was one of the best we've seen and very clean.

Stayed here for one night on the way back from the Lakeland Segway experience in Cartmel. It was the perfect choice for us as it was only half an hour away from Cartmel and it was cheaper than the other available hotels.

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. I liked how we were met on arrival, given a choice of tent and that we had a nice chat about what to do/where to go in the area. There was a local beer festival on in a nearby village which sounded cool.

We stayed in a deluxe bell tent, and it was absolutely gorgeous—a comfy bed, bedside tables, lights, patio/decking area, and the most amazing sea view. The nearby showers and toilet area were modern and clean.

In the evening, we went to a nice pub called the Royal Hotel in nearby Bolton Le Sands. The Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant ‘Trungs‘’ was just across the road so we decided to get a takeaway to take back to the tent. It was really good.

We liked being able to wake up and have the option to buy some breakfast from the on-site ‘ScarBucks’ I went for coffee and croissant, my partner had a bacon butty. All were fresh, tasty and nicely.

Will definitely be returning!

A wonderful campsite, with beautiful views in a peaceful location. 20 min walk to the pub and the best camping toilets and showers we've seen, what more could you want. The coffee and croissants on offer in the morning were the icing on the cake. Would definitely return. Great value for money.

That we didn't stay longer
