The facilities were disgusting. The men’s were cleaned on Monday then left for the week- I don’t think the womens got cleaned whilst we were there at all. The dirt and decay in there was horrendous- not merely because it was end of season, they had been decaying for years.
The show at had one girl on to cover the whole bar, collect glasses and do table orders so she was frazzled, luckily the security helped with glasses but she was still overwhelmed. She did a great job though.
One rain shower and the roof of the clubhouse leaked like a tap- that’s not unexpected or sudden leaks, the security joked they were part lifeguards. This place could be fabulous if they had some maintenance team on park. It just felt neglected.

Great pool, great location close to the beach, nice pitches, some nice parks when you go to find them.
Good value for money for camping in off season.

Looking pretty aged. Pool showing signs of age, toilet block was frankly grim as it is dirty and stained and just looks unpleasant, food at the coast bar took ages to come out and was cold even then, although hardly anyone at the place at the time. Pool very busy.
Poor customer service. Paid more for a pitch on croyde burrows and got pitched on taw anyway.

Reception staff really excelled and went above and beyond to suit my needs. The park was as expected but the location was exceptional. If you haven't been to Croyde then I'd recommend this place

Showers could do with updating

Our stay was excellent then storm Agnes hit us. We were the last tent standing and it was taking a battering. Ruda gave us a caravan for the night and saved the day. Excellent customer service. The site location amazing. Definately will go back again.

Areas of the shower block and Entertainment hub were looking tired.

Facilities were amazing. Location was perfect. Staff were really nice and helpful. Had everything you’d ever need.

I feel like there should have been at least 1 patrol at night as the pitch opposite us were VERY loud. Laughing and shouting (drunk) until nearly 2am. A patrol would have been able to keep a lid on this behaviour which happened both nights we stayed at Ruda.

Loved how spacious the safari tent was. Loved the location, could see and hear the sea. Liked the kitchenette, everything you need to help cook a meal. Comfy beds!

Grounds well maintained and rubbish free.

Glamping toilets/showers are ok but not the best, the men’s were dirty and the door was broken, had been forced open. Luckily we took our own loo! Didn’t use the entertainment facility as the place smelt mouldy. Did go in there to use the loo, on entrance to the facility there was a couple of buckets catching rain water and the toilets had a lot flies.
The fried chicken restaurant/takeaway is expensive, a burger, chicken strips and two drinks cost almost £30.
Don’t understand why dogs aren’t allowed there

The whole site is looking very tired and really needs some love and attention. Especially the toilet and show block.
