Plenty of space between each pitch and, along with our friend, we were sited away from others. Nice pitches near the river, which meant we could hear the gentle tumbling of the water. I braved a dip in the river but it's not big enough to have a good swim in. The toilets, showers, washing up room were very clean and well maintained. There's a large washing machine and tumble drier but we didn't use either. Also a large fridge, a large freezer as well as small fridge and freezer. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful, a credit to the company.
We didn't take a dog but I should think the dog washing area is very welcome by those that do.Не понравилось: That residents of the residential site walk their dogs through the campsite but campers aren't allowed in the residential area (which is fair enough). Not sure why the campers have to put up with residents dogs fouling the grass, even if they do clear it up.
Not the site's fault but electricity was off for 6 hours on one of the days we stayed and I had to ring and ask for the showers to be re-opened once the power returned.
We had no problems accessing toilets, showers or washing up but I imagine when the site is full, it will be hard to find an empty one. Only 3 lady's toilets, 2 lady's showers and 2 family toilet/shower rooms. The men have 3 toilets, 3 urinals and 1 shower.
The camp site is lovely and clean and was perfect …

The pitches were substantial in size and near electric and water supply. I stayed early July and the site wasn't busy, but even if it had been it would not have been cramped. There was a safe dog-off-lead area which was well maintained and not out on a limb, which we used every day. There was a dog wash but I didn't use it. I also didn't use their shower and toilet facilities because my cvan has its own, but theirs looked nice. My phone (EE) signal wasn't good, but EE never seems good if there's a hill around. All the staff were pleasant. They're doing some work on the site - looks like new pitches or maybe a cafe or something, but there wasn't too much noise from this.
