The long single track road that serves to enter and exit the site with only 2 small passing spaces.
Felt like we were staying on a large car park as it was mainly gravel. The small area of grass accommodated tents.
The chemical waste area smells as there is no cover on it.
There is no where to wash your hands once you have emptied your chemical waste unless you go to the on site toilets.
The use of electricity is an additional charge and in my view it’s expensive. We used our gas to supplement the use of the electricity to keep the cost to a minimal. We only used our lights in the late evening as it was light until around 9.pm and it cost us a little under three pounds for 2 nights.
The distance between our caravan next door was less than the required 3 metres.
The only place to walk your dog is along the single track road that enters and exits the site.
You have to drive through an industrial estate to get to the site. Not a pretty sight.
I didn’t feel the site was value for money.
We returned to the site at 7.30 pm after a day out and had to call the warden to gain access to the site as no barrier card or code is made available to campers. Poor warden.
There is no shop on site so you will need to take a drive out if you need anything.
The children’s play area is run down and is very small with minimal grass.
