Pitches were a good size. Toilet and shower facilities were modern, with a good washing up area. Lovely surroundings and only a short walk to pubs and shops.

Bucket of water and used mop left in the toilets which was smelly and could have done with cleaning them a little more frequently. Not brilliantly signposted, would benefit from putting a small sign on the main road leading to the site to help.

Where to start.
Very rude and abrupt staff/manager.
Told me by phone as no reception I was in pod number 3 but as we got settled said we were in the wrong pod and blamed me !!! Would not take responsibility for his error.
Only two toilets on site and they were in with the showers so if someone’s having a shower you’re going to have to wait.
Told to park in the gravel car park at the bottom , which was fine but others had parked next to our pod, and in the morning someone parked right outside ours loading their car waking us up. Should be the same rule for all.
Message them late afternoon but before 6 to see if the gates stayed open at night as we would be out till late, but they didn’t bother to reply so had to chance it.
Fire pit I’d say was dangerous as ours was still going from the previous people. Could be dangerous to children or adults who don’t realise they’re still hot. Also as the pods are quite close together next doors fire pit smell was coming into our pod.
Don’t expect “glamping” as it’s not at all. The only bonus is you don’t have to pack your tent away.
Quite expensive for what you get. Misleading description on the site as to the size of pod think it now means your whole camping area not the pitch it self. Also pricing says from from £45 for two we were charged £55 for two not sure why.

I loved the pod! The surrounding views were superb and my family loved a wander beside the stream when we arrived. This was a birthday treat for my hubby who is a die-hard camper! We all enjoyed the simplicity yet perfectly provided mattresses, table, chairs, mirror and electric points. We only stayed one night but could have stayed much longer. We made the best of our BBQ and loved the washing machine drum as a fire pit! Can’t beat a camp fire! The facilities were modern, clean and were the best I have been in for a very long time. That made the stay even more enjoyable. John was warm and welcoming on the phone and it felt like we belonged. A fantastic area and well kept pitches. We will return 👍

I didn’t dislike anything. It really was fab! I guess the mini hill walk to the pods was a bit much at night, but that is just me! And we couldn’t get WiFi, but we survived!

Pitches are great, John is really friendly and the toilets and showers are clean and well stocked. There's a great park a minute down the road, with a great playpark as well

The only downside was that there are only 2 toilets and showers. This was ok most of the week, but Saturday morning meant queues for both toilets and showers.

Second time we have stayed here. We love it. Beautiful spot right next to a lovely walk along the riverside and many other picturesque walks nearby. Both times we stayed we have ordered pizza from Elliots Pizza which is a 5 min drive from the site and is the best pizza ( & truffle fries) ever. Friendly owners and a spotless shower block. Shower is also great compared to most other sites! We will be back again :-)

We liked everything. Fantastic, comfortable, warm, took the stress out of camping. Toilets and showers were good quality and clean and location was superb

A very relaxing break, very friendly host nice walking trails, very clean site. Definitely worth repeating the experience. I have recharged my batteries:).
