Lovely and peaceful. Large grass pitch for my tent and could pitch next to friends in their motorhome.

The 2 toilets had showers in the same room, so a bit of a wait to just use the loo in the morning

Shower went cold quick

Great site situated at the end of a park near a river. Super flat pitches, good toilets and shower block. Very quiet lots of grass for furry friends to run on. Ideally situated for great walks and also close to shops, cafes and pubs.

The temperature of the shower was lovely. Nice walk near by.

Check in was stated from 1pm , on arrival we followed the instructions to ring we rang both numbers given, one person picked up but was unable to help due to been on the motorway and was asked to ring the other number. We rang over 15 times to try and check in, it took over 1 &1/2 hours to finally get a key.
We requested an end pod due to having a baby and a 2 year old and hopefully would have given a little bit more space and less noise for others a little further away. The pictures are very deceiving we stepped out of our pod to a dangerous drop. This meant we had to be on our toddler the whole time which was not fair to him.we feel very conned and let down as a family and confused as to why they would let us book something so unsafe for toddlers, the pictures do not show the dangers otherwise we certainly wouldn’t of booked.
The car was not able to get up the step hill to pack or unpack-other cars also struggled. The water tap was a fair walk away, it wasn’t a warm and friendly site unfortunately flys all stuck on the bathroom walls whilst trying to shower, dog poo on the floor and the black out blind just kept falling down.
When we finally managed to get a call back from the owner for a key he questioned us about our payment- a week prior we rang and payed a bank transfer. This made us feel worries that it had not gone through, but just the lack of the owner ‘not checking the laptop’ & when we eventually got the key we didn’t even receive an apology for the ridiculous wait with two babies.
What we thought was going to be a lovely family bonding weekend was just stressful and full of disappointment.
We will be contacting the owner as we feel some sort of recognition is needed for how the camping pod was sold and what you actually receive.
We left one night early. As was tired of not letting 2 year old being able to roam and actually have fun safely.

Stayed in pod parking could be better but had a good time. Safe clean food facilities.

Lovely site, very friendly owner easily contactable as lives on the site. 15 min walk into Ripponden and lovely country walks. Dog friendly and allows fire pits which we love. Clean toilets and showers too. Would definitely go back. Visited Hebden Bridge a gorgeous town, 9 miles from the site.

Just one thing, when you get to the turn off on Google maps there is no sign for the site. We were confused as it said it was a dead end. I rang the owner and he directed us.

Massive pitches! drinking water tap, drainage and electric hook up right on the pitch!
Very helpful and welcoming. So peaceful and relaxing can hear the river flowing I’ve never slept as good! We extended our stay for 2 nights! Clean and well kept toilets and shower, with washing up space. Would 100% recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful stay.

The campsite was lovely and small, well looked after and had a few shower/ toilet units. Only two but plenty for the size of campsite. It’s in a great location especially if you are able to drive to local areas and attractions. There were a few nice places to eat close by and a coop within a short walk for supplies. It was nice to be able to listen to the river next to the campsite aswell.

Nothing to dislike.
