First off I’d like to send a thankyou to the riverside team again.we booked last minute and arrived quite late in the afternoon.once we arrived and have never stayed here before we were absolutely pleased to see the quality of the site and the care & time that the team clearly put in.we spoke to Joyce over the phone before arriving regarding our booking who was lovely and were greeted by her on arrival.we asked to be pitched on our own for a little privacy and Joyce was accommodating of that and kindly gave us the pitch we asked for.throughout our stay which we extended by 1 night due to the fact we loved the place so much the staff over there couldn’t do enough for you and always had a smile on their faces even when running around doing their jobs.the other campers were pleasant and all the kids on the site were really having fun in the sun playing football or having water fights throwing frisbees or playing rounders which was really nice to see.you could tell it’s a family friendly site.the grass was immaculate and not a drop of litter anywhere.the club house on site was nice with a bar pool table and darts and the food although just normal pub grub was reasonably priced but actually really really nice chips onion rings and chicken nuggets were a firm favourite with not just our kids but the adults too and were Cooked perfect so kudos to the kitchen staff.the bar ladies were lovely and had a great sense of humour also.
They had a lady singing in the bar on the Saturday which was good fun and entertaining while having a cheeky pint.on the Sunday we took a short 10 minute drive to Malvern to get fresh water from spring and was taken back by the beautiful scenery with lots of pubs & shops and things to do there.we also visited uptown which was 10 minutes in the opposite direction to Malvern when leaving the camp and although a small town has lots of character and sits on the river Severn.i also want to mention the toilet and shower facilities and I have to say I have been all over the uk on camp sites with my family and friends and river dale is one of the best most definitely.music playing absolutely spotless always being cleaned and the showers were brilliant!!..2 proper showers that stay on and always have hot water also spotless.top marks there guys.its also worth noting they have a small park for
The kids to play on.i want to give a special mention to the wardens and I hope you find this review.BIG BIG THANKYOU to Joyce and mark and also Anita and mark (hope I got the names right) what great guys you all are, so kind and really care about the people who stay with you and the grounds you all keep so well.thankyou so much when we go camping it’s so nice to meet people who genuinely like to see people having fun.my kids loved it so did my partner and our friends too.we will definitely be back on a regular basis and I’m going to recommend this site to other family members and friends for sure.cannot believe I’ve only just found this hidden gem and has been added to one of favourite places to take my kids camping now.👍🏼👍🏼thumbs up riverside you should be proud your onto a winner here x

What a hidden gem!

Safe, secure and clean site.
Children’s play area in the centre of the touring field, added bonus.

Entertainment in the club house at weekends, and a lovely walk down by the river seven on site.

The staff and owners were lovely, really hardworking, out all day maintaining the site.

Will be returning next year, thank you very much.

Good facilities and play area.

Was not aware the clubhouse was cash only. We went in on last night for drinks and a meal which obviously didn't happen.

We loved that they had goal posts on the pitch. With two football mad boys they were over the moon, plus it was a great way for all the children to make friends. Lovely and clean.

Toilets could have had a baby changing facility was really difficult trying to give my youngest a shower with me but then nowhere to put her down to get changed. Think it could be a great new attribute. Little dissapointed the club house only open at weekend as we weren’t around so didn’t get to see it.

The immediate friendly reception and clear instructions and guidance of the site.

Great water access points and easy to find in the day and Night.

No Dislikes. I and my partner loved our stay and will be returning hopefully in the near future and definitively next year for the Upton Blues Festival.

Big well kept open field with decent space between the pitches. Water point next to the electric hook up. Good clean showers and toilets block. Club house on site but limited opening times. Friendly staff. Small staging area for fishing. Tennis court.

A lot of the tent pitches are on a bit of a slope so everything tends to slowly move downhill. No WiFi. Tennis court needs tarmac repairs.

Excellent shower and toilet block. Would be nice to have more showers but those in place are good !Helpful staff.
