Loved how clean and tidy all the facilities was. The field was also lovely and clean and well spaced out. Owner was lovely and friendly and very chatty. The scenery was amazing especially at sun set. No phone signal but was the best because it was pure family time.

Enough space for children to play in the centre of the site but there’s no activities.

First time I stayed it was perfect.

Second time there was a bad smell of faeces (and not from animals either).
Sheep bahhhd all night long!
Midges infestation across the whole site in the morning.

Again, no issues when I stayed a couple of weeks ago.

Only this week those 3 issues.

Understandably, the sheep and the midges can’t be helped I must have got lucky the first time.

But the smell was sickening and wafted in with the breeze every few minutes for around an hour. Not sure where it was coming from but it went eventually.

amazing location up on the moors with spectacular views. Great pitches. Super clean shower and toilets, which are generous and thoughtfully laid out. Very Kind and genuine owners. Graham charged up my flat car battery and took us for a tour around the farm. Really lovely people. Totally fab campsite.

Beautiful views/location, plenty of walking paths, rivers, hills. Pub next to campsite does great food. Very clean facilities, hot water, toilets, shower, always clean and restocked. Firepits and friendly owners

The actual site was exactly what we needed and had beautiful views. Toilets were very clean and the whole site was well kept.

The showers didn’t work in the morning.

The accommodating owner kindly rescheduled our stay due to my wife being unwell, so we stayed 19th July for a 2-night stay, the campsite was exactly as we expected with good sized pitches and toilets and showers were kept clean, the owners came around on an evening and during the day to keep the site clean.

Situated in a nice quiet and remote location with multiple walks in every direction, it's ideal!!

The Brady bunch x10 turned as a big group with screaming kids and parents who near enough let the kids do what they wanted we had to move within 5-minutes as they had no consideration for other people and two separate campers on Friday evening had a fire going till 12.30 am and woke us up with their talking.

The above wasn't directly the owner's fault, but maybe a later evening spot check to ensure that the quiet times and rules are being followed and all fires are extinguished at 10pm
