Brilliant simple site, great location and pitches spaced out well, liked the unique cattle shed bunks for tied out walkers (like an old bunk house) great clean facilities and amazing walking all from site. A lovely flat walk into town for shopping or pub too. Roxy the owner was very friendly and chilled out.

Beautiful small campsite with ‘free range’ camping to suit your requirements. Really clean facilities with the best showers I’ve ever seen on a campsite. Only 15 minutes pleasant walk to the nearest town with places to eat & shop. Great for walking on Offa’s Dyke directly from the site. One of the best campsites I’ve been to in 15 years’ camping 👍

Small, friendly campsite. Plenty of space so pitches aren’t too close. Good, clean facilities and friendly owners. Can buy fire pits and firewood on site, and it’s only a 10 minute walk into Knighton where there are plenty of pubs and cafes. Came here with a group of 10 friends and had a great time.

Friendly campsite, neat and peaceful against the awesome backdrop of the wooded Panpunton Hill. Good, clean facilities (showers, loos, fridge, microwave, sinks for washing up, charging points) and a wide choice of pitches with a few useful picnic tables. River Teme and railway run past the site (only five small trains a day each way). Railway line is fenced off from the site itself, and the site felt like a secure spot for my 4-year-old to run around. The site is on the Offa’s Dyke path and it’s an easy and pleasant riverside walk into town, with lots of trees for shade once you pass the border into Wales. (If you’re walking from the train station this is a more enjoyable route than the road which is quite narrow in places, though not busy.) Knighton has some great second-hand stores, lovely pubs and cafes, and seems a really friendly town

Lovely location, grass mown pitches with wild meadow areas in between, riverside location, easy walk into Knighton for dinner, access to Offa’s Dyke from campsite.

There is a Trainline also right next to the campsite - we had maybe 3 trains pass the entire time we were there (48 hours) so it didn’t really bother us, but it may put some people off.

We liked the seclusion and riverside location. The site is of the old fashioned basic facilities style. The toilet and showers were clean and fully functional . The inclusion of a microwave and electric kettle were handy additions to the kitchen area.
The site is on the Offas Dyke footpath and in close proximity to other footpaths. It is also close to the Heart of Wales railway line so it is possible to park up your car and not have to use it during your stay. Most of the other site users seemed to be walkers and it is unlikely that you will suffer rowdy nights. The owners are there if you need them but not to the extent of patrolling your stay ( Take note caravan club! ).

If you can find anything to dislike at this site then perhaps camping is not for you.

Superb facilities. Clearly a lot of thought about what is needed. Best facilities I have ever come across on a campsite.
