Stayed here for 2 nights with electrical hook up with some friends, both in camper vans.We used the showers and toilet facilities at the main part and these were open 24/7, always clean and there is a stool in the shower if you needed to sit down.

It's a quiet site and we were able to walk the dog over the site to a field where she could be let off lead. It's 5 minutes walk to get to the canal if you wanted to walk much further and about 20 minutes into The town via car. There are several porta loos dotted around the site.

If camping we noticed no cars allowed by the tents and the owners take your belongings up to the pitch for you. We thought this was a good idea. The pitches are not close together either. There's not alot to do on the site but that's why we went, that was our choice. There is a bar and pizzeria but we didn't use either of these and a cafe/shop with basic things in. Great site, clean and very quiet. The owner took us to our pitch and explained everything, he is very particular about how you park and protecting his grass.

Nothing to dislike. It's very dark on the site which it does state this when booking. We didn't mind this. Just take a torch if walking down to the main toilets.

Lovely & clean bell tent. Great location, perfect for an over night stay. Really lovely site. Comfortable bed!

Expected either the cafe or pizza set up to be open but neither were for the night we were there. Think it should be made clearer that they are open for very limited times.

Grounds were amazing never been anywhere where the staff went so far above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help with set up and any other needs you may have

Very quirky boat bar there reasonable priced and fresh cooked food pizzas were amazing

Stayed here as a stop off to break our journey. Lovely quiet site, felt very secluded. Our pitch had everything we needed and there were all the service points we needed for our Motorhome, the pitch was nice and level so very easy to get settled.
The boat bar and pizza truck were fantastic, lovely evening in the sunshine sat by the marina. Will definitely stop here again.

There are toilet/ shower facilities but they are basic, we used the shower/ toilet in our Motorhome so we weren’t impacted.

Lovely site is a pretty spot. We only stayed one night but would recommend as it's lovely.

Not many Loos and showers. No hair dryer meaning wet hair all day.

Gorgeous campsite, lots of space for each pitch and around the site, pizza trailer (doesn’t just sell pizza), tearooms and bar all great

On/off shooting all day (apparently at the geese?) terrified our dog and she was very stressed out and got a bit reactive. Not keen on portaloos

We thought the camp was easy to get to, the land is kept very respectable. The Pizza van and the Boat Bar were out of this world. The quality of the food and the customer service is the best we have experienced for a long time!

the vibe of the camp site is very friendly and everyone says hello as you walk past, the marina filled with barge boats is very nice, especially at sunset there are plenty of tables to sit at and admire the view.

The location seems to be on a flight path, we struggled to sleep unfortunately. There were many young families and the children were screaming early hours of the morning, we then struggled to get back to sleep after this.

Unfortunately we didn't stay for the two days due to the weather.

The toilets weren't the best, only in desperation I used the bathroom, they could do with an airefresher or ventilation.

Loved everything, such a beautiful peaceful place, everyone was really friendly, always a "good morning" or "good afternoon" whenever we bumped into anyone local people were really lovely. The site has everything you need, Myself & my 10 year daughter booked a pitch for camping Beautiful views, showers & toilets, washing up area was 2 mins walk from the tent and a cold water tap on the fence pretty much at the back of our pitch.

Gilbert meeting us with his quad bike & trailer to collect our camping gear and take it to the pitch for us was perfect , again Thank you!

Lots of of lovely places to visit, we had days out at Lions salt works, Marbury Country Park , Andertons Boat Lift, Anderton Nature Park.
Our first full day was heavy rain & Quite windy so we decided to head into Winsford and have a walk around and a bite to eat then head back and play board games around the tent even then we still really enjoyed it playing connect 4 in the wind outside was the funniest thing ever we laughed alot and made amazing memories & to us that is what these beautiful places are for, just perfect for us !!! Great site peaceful and ran very well. Staff were really friendly and help you get your gear to the pitch. Nice Marina area with a little bar, cafe and pizzeria which was really nice to break you in before going back to your pitch. Really nice layout and amenities well placed around the site (loo, wash up n showers). Will definitely be returning
